Im a rock n roll/metal fan and love live music. I wasnt sure what to expect with this show....but simply put was blown away. If your not someone who can appreciate the art of production and first class talent...you may not be as engaged as I was. But for pure entertainment value I dont see how anyone could not enjoy this show. Its just very cool all the way around, beautiful theatre, good music, interesting characters, great costumes, talented performers, very very creative.....lights...smoke... atmosphere for days... I was glued to my seat and forgot where I was for a couple of hours.... highly recommended.
If I have one critique it would be that during one scene you can see some of the performers back behind the main stage loosening up getting ready to hit their que. It was a bit distracting. For all the thought that goes into this show you its hard to imagine they overlooked a black curtain to hide them. Very minor complaint.... still I recommend this show without hesitation. You do not need to be up close...in fact I wouldnt recommend it unless your more interested in experessions on the faces of the performers. Otherwise mid theatre as close to center as possible would be ideal. . The seats count from right to left if your standing on the stage...... the MGM map doesnt bother to tell you that.. I had row Q in sec 203 seat 10 which was great but if I went again...and I will....ill go for sec 202 or 102 about midway.
