We stayed here in August the 4 of us and liked it very much ,when you enter the hotel you can feal you have reached a high class hotel the nice marbled hallway with the shiny floor tiles and funky music sets the scene. The check-in was smooth and asked politely for a nice strip view and she said no problem you got it ,great i said ,good start? but when we opened our room our view was a parking lot and a highway i was shocked ,i phoned check-in and complained and got a great view the day after looking towards the Luxor and strip .The room is real nice with 2 amazing comfortable beds and the living area had a huge tv ,the bathroom was nice but never supplied enough shampoo etc etc for 4 people and the towels were very hard not fluffy soft the way i like them.In all except for the few minor faults this hotel is good but cant say it was great ,the money you pay is a lot and the fine details should be perfect ,would i stay here again i might say yes but im not sure 50/50.

We were traveling with friends, under the impression we were staying at Mandalay Bay, which was great - we love it. But upon check-in, we were told we were in TheHotel. Wow - what a great hotel! Rooms were huge, 2 room suites, to be exact. Big bathroom, with HUGE soaking tub. Big flat screen tvs in living room & bedroom and smaller one in bathroom. Comfortable bed, great view of the pool. Awesome stay. Will definitely go there again! (as a side note, the Four Seasons Spa was incredible!)

This was our first trip to Las Vegas, and my first trip to the USA. We found this hotel on travelocity, where we got a great deal on both air and hotel. I do know that when you don't book directly through the hotel, the hotel staff might give you less attention/provide lesser service, but we were okay with this. This resulted in us getting a suite on the fourth floor with a great view of a wall LOL.

However, check in went fairly well and the front desk person was very friendly. The suite itself is just like what you see in pictures! 3 TVs, huge tub, comfortable bed and couch. I did not find that there was limited closet space, but I must agree on fellow posters that the rooms did seem a bit dark and that there is a problem with the water in the shower; either cold or hot, no inbetweens.

regarding location of the property, then it is situated on the most southern part of the Strip, but we did not mind. It was very easy to use the tram to Excalibur and then cross the street to NYNY. We also prefered this part of the Strip compared to where The Mirage etc. are located.

We had breakfast at THEcafe one morning and albeit a bit pricey, the food was delicious and the service friendly. We also had dinner at MIX friday evening and what a view! Both from the restaurant and in particular the MIXlounge. We had both pre- and afterdinner drinks there and really enjoyed it. And yeah, the food was great too ;-)

Other than that we dined at a couple of the restaurants at Mandalay Bay, which is a mere 2 minute walk away from THEhotel. The Bayside Buffet is really good with great food and a great environment. We tried the buffet at Harrahs one evening and we both agree that we really prefer the buffet at Mandalay Bay.

We also dined at other restaurants in Vegas but this has nothing to do with THEhotel or Mandalay Bay, so I will not mention these further.

In conclusion; a great place to stay, lovely decor, nice scent, quiet and relaxing ambience, clean, and a friendly staff.

  • Liked — The look and feel of the whole place, easy access to Mandalay Bay
  • Disliked — Nothing in particular comes to mind.

I just got back from a three night stay at THEhotel with 12 people (four in each room). The rooms were great! What a treat to have an extra half bath, and for the den area to be separated from the bedroom area. The beds were so comfortable and the main bathroom was huge. I loved the shower. TV's in every room. Check in was quick and easy-- they let part of our group check in around 9:30 AM! Wow!
I requested all three rooms on the same floor- that wasn't a problem at all.
We also paid $30 for a day pass to Bathhouse (the spa) and had so much fun lounging around and using the hot tubs, steam room, etc. It has such a relaxing atmosphere.
The front desk didn't always immediately answer the phone, and the service at the Border Grill was pretty slow, but other than that it was great. The Burger Bar was very good and had very good prices. The pool was fun, we all loved the lazy river. I wouldn't suggest going to the Moorea area of the pool unless you are guaranteed a chair- we went in for five minutes and left because it was so crowded (they did give us our money back). Not sure I would waste money on a basic cabana either, they weren't all that impressive. The upgraded cabanas were very nice.
They don't have a grand entrance- your cab actually drops you off in the parking garage, but the lobby is nice once you get in the door.
We we worried about being so far down the strip it would be hard for us to get anywhere, but it was actually easier b/c they either took the interstate or back roads, so we never had to sit in traffic on the strip.
I would love to go back!

  • Liked — Great suites!
  • Disliked — Had to walk far to the pool.

After being told just before arrival that they no longer had a two bedded room available, we arrived with some trepidation. All our fears were unfounded.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff super efficient and friendly. We were allocated an upper floor room with side strip view. The room was amazing..... spacious, clean, modern. Even the bedroom (with two queen beds in ) had loads of room and storage.
Room service was pricey, but quick. Housekeeping perfect. The distance to the pool was not a problem, it never took us longer than 5mins to walk there, and WOW what a pool!. The stunning lobby and lounge area was relaxing. The Mandalay shopping mall and restaurants were all amazing.
We have never stayed anywhere so beauiful before and after visiting all the hotels on the strip we remain delighted with our choice.
We moved to The Orleans for the last few nights of our stay which was fantastic value but obviously not a patch on THhotel!
