We stayed at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay in Vegas: they upgrade our room to a Honeymoon Suite. It was just so perfect. Great king size bed and great crispy fresh linens. Jacuzzi and large shower made it even more enjoyable. Look for the Promotions on the hotel website, we paid just 119 dollars for the night.
Must see.

I agree with everything said in the last review.

We stayed in a 2 roomed suite, huge bathroom, 2 wc's perfect for a family of 5.

Everything you need under one roof, a long list of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping. Huge pool complex.

We hired a cabana for a few days, excellent service, complimentary soft drinks, fridge, plasma screen, free rings for the lazy river. Well worth the money, felt very spoilt.

We ate at the House of Blues a few times, fab southern style comfort food. Italian good food, great wine list, great buffet breakfasts in the Bayside Buffet.

Lots to do for kids of ALL ages. If you think Vegas is tacky, this hotel will change your mind.

Helicopter flight through Grand Canyon, excellent!

After six days here we then went onto New York and Boston.

I booked two adjoining suites at TheHotel; we wanted to stay for two nights, but the hotel was full and we had to spend one night at Mandaly Bay (I'll review that hotel separately). The rooms in TheHotel are absolutely beautiful and look just like the pictures on the Internet. My family of six loved the look of the rooms. The bars and restaurants are fantastic and I happen to really like the pools at Mandalay so that part was great. The negatives of this place have to do with waiting times and things for children. Granted that taking children to Las Vegas may not be the best idea, but if you are goping to do that, then TheHotel is not the best place to take children. The room service menus did not really work for my children who do not have particularly adult taste in food. They need a kids menu and they need better tv choices for children like the Disney Channel. The wait to check in was way too long. They need to ramp up the front desk staff at least on Saturdays at around 3:00p.m. We arrived at 3:30 and by the time we waited in line and finished checking in, it was almost 5:00 p.m. and the pool was closing at 6:00 for a concert. They ought to consider keeping the pool open until 8:00 p.m. Overall, the place just feel short staffed. I orderded a late meal and it took over 90 minutes to be delivered. We had to wait over 30 minutes for security when we accidentally looked ourselves out of the our rooms. Given the cost, the place is just a bit under staffed. Unless you really need the living room part of the hotel room, I would save the money and stay at Mandalay Bay, which I think has nicer views any way because it does not have a big hotel sitting in fornt of it. I would give TheHotel an above-average or excellent rating for the rooms, but the rating drops to average because of the combination of high cost and poor staffing.

Stayed at THE hotel from August 19th through the 24th. It was an absolute amazing experience. We were booked at the regular Mandalay Bay Hotel, but when using the front desk tip trick, we were upgraded to THE hotel. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I read some of the other reviews, and the talk about small closet space is ridiculous. My wife and I had more than enough room in the closets and there was even room for the additional clothes she bought when she went shopping!
The smell that hits you when you walk into THE hotel is great. I think they pump some kind of jasmine or something else, but it really refreshes you and is much more pleasant than the normal smell of a smoky Vegas casino.
Speaking of the casino, it is just a short walk from the entrance to THE hotel and all of its noise is kept away from you. The Mandalay Palace is right by the entrance to the casino which gives you quick access to many shops, restaurants and ultimately leads you to the Luxor. If you have to pick one spot, eat at the Burger Bar. Sit at the counter too, to get served quicker. The Kobe Beef Burger was the best burger I have ever eaten.
The pool is somewhat of a walk from THE hotel, but if you learn a short cut through the casino, it isn’t all that bad. Be sure to stop at your local Target before going to this pool so that you can purchase a tube for the lazy river, otherwise it will cost you $20 for a Mandalay Bay tube. The wave pool is absolutely awesome, just be sure to get there early because it can get jammed up with children later in the day. It was an out of this world experience to be in the middle of the desert in Las Vegas and sit by a wave pool with a beach.
The casino is very open and spacious, however the tables have fairly high minimums (no lower than $15 during the night and $10 during the day). I spent most of my time at the poker table, which was a very pleasant experience. The Sports book is possibly one of the biggest in Vegas.
For food, all of Mandalay Bay’s restaurants are available to you. The buffet was decent. If you go to it, be sure to have some of the chocolate candle cake, it was the best cake I have ever eaten. The Shanghai Lilly was excellent. My wife and I ate there on one of our last nights. It was a little pricey, but the meal is out of this world and the deserts will leave you speechless.
My wife checked out THE bathhouse and said that it was an excellent spa, so I guess I would have to recommend that as well.
In conclusion, my wife and I both agree that we will never stay at another place when going to Vegas.

This place is amazing. I had a rate of $150 for my stay during a promotion. BEST HOTEL in Las Vegas, just blowing it out of the water with such a modern design. LOVED it and service was impeccable. Front Desk was AMAZING. For such a large property, I was extremely supprised that they can keep their personalities up with so many people staying there. All my friends from San Diego stay at this hotel if they're looking for the modern chic boutique hotel feel. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

The Bathhouse was ALSO amazing. The option to go nude is awesome.

Even if I was paying 700+ for my room,, I would've definetly gotten my money's worth.

Loved the amenities as well! Everything so cleverly designed. Jacuzzi tubs in every room. FAB!
