Although it's a bit of a walk to get to the monorail entrances - it was perfect for us, as we stayed off-strip at the Renaisaance Marriott. Our hotel was right next to the monorail station and it made it convenient for us to get to the strip without paying for a taxi or having to drive in Las Vegas.

It was clean and quiet, and we appreciated that after being on the strip all day long. If you don't mind walking a little bit, it's a good choice.

We primarily went on the monorail just for fun, but this was a great way for us to see some hotels that would have been out of the way, otherwise. It stops at several locations, which allowed us to check out a lot of "hot spots" in Vegas. The nice thing is that it's pretty fast, and all automated, so you just buy your ticket and ride as long as you want. We parked at the Hilton (free parking!) and rode it all the way to the end, and then back. We aren't gamblers, but I like to check out the inside of the strip hotels; some of which are attractions in themselves!

This is a pretty good way to get around if you're in the back of one of the hotels and in a hurry. It's kind of spendy and you'll have to walk a long way back to the strip in most cases. We only rode it once because of this. It's completely automated and they come pretty often. We used the Deuce bus for the most part because it's a lot more convenient, but also a lot slower going. There's really no such thing as a good way to get around Vegas.

It's a quick way to travel the Strip. Fifteen minutes from one side to the other and several stops along the way. It wasn't until I walked the Strip taking photos that I realized how fast and useful the Monorail is. If you're there for a conference, buy the 3-day pass and you can probably use it exclusively.

Oh dear what a pain this journey was! We started at the MGM Grand and travelleed to the stratosphere at the far end of the strip. This part of the journey went well but when we got off there were no signs and we ended up walking round a very dodgy district full of 'massage parlours'.

After visiting the stratosphere we walked back to The Wynn (fantastic hotel) and then after some cocktails tried to find the monorail back to the MGM. We wandered about for ages with very achey feet and even when we finally tracked down the elusive monorail station we coulnt find out ow to get to the platform for some time as several gates were locked shut,

For the $26 for 2 of us (all day passes) we wished we'd spent it on a cab instead
