Booked a table for lunch for my husbands Birthday ,Great View service was iffie .My husband orded the Ravioli when it arrive it looked as if it had sat under the heat lamp for 15 minutes.I STUPIDLY ordered the BURGER big mistake it was Terrible,when it arrived I took the top of the bun because it was huge and it looked gross but never mind I was hungry it was dripping with oil ( they had cooked the onions in oil about a litre of it and pored it over the burger the bacon was dry and the cheese corroded but never mind I was hungry .But not THAT hungry the first bite was funny it tasted OFF but this was my husbands birthday so I tried to eat but it was horrible so I just ate the GREAT bread they provided leaving 7/8th of my burger.The waiter never came to see how we were dong so when my husband had finished he came to remove the plates and asked how was it ? I told him it wasn't that good his reply its a Burger I said it tasted funny and was greasy, no reply but when we got our bill he had taken the burger off. I would not go back even for the VIEW and would be really worried at going for their Dinner Menu at 5 times the price if the cant get lunch right then its scary.

We ate at the Top of the World on Aug 7, 2004. This was definately an experience. It was sooo romantic and the food was delicious! We ordered the ostrich - wonderful and the filet - melts in your mouth. We will definately return to the Top of the World!

My wife and I went to the Top of the World restaurant inside the Statosphere Hotel and Casino. I was looking for something romantic and boy did I find it! I thought that this would be a little cheesey and touristy being at the top of the tower and all. It was elegant and classy and the food was fantastic! Coming from a resort town, the prices were the same as they are here for fine dinning except your 800 and something feet off the ground. We had 7:30 reservations which enabled us to see a beautiful sunset, The Strip coming to life and a lightning show over the mountains. I highly suggeset getting a booth. You'll realize why if you go upstairs for a cocktail. All the courses were amazing. I would steer clear of the a la cart items like starches and veggies. You won't have room for them! And at $7 a pop you can have a couple glasses of wine instead. I almost forgot the best part. The service was exceptional! I'm sorry I don't remember his name! I hope this helps!

This restaurant is a Las Vegas MUST! Though I was a little leary of planning our anniversary dinner there (the Stratosphere is not a hotel we would typically visit), we were pleasantly surprised with the breathtaking view and incredible dinner! I strongly recommend requesting a window side table -- you will want to enjoy the 360 view! The service was immpecable -- though the photographer was a little annoying and would not take no for an answer....guess she was just trying to make a living like the rest of us. Enjoy the view and the dinner then head back down strip to gamble - we lost our butts in their casino :)
