Very good food, staff was helpful even when we were late for a reservation on a busy weekend. They brought us the wrong dessert but let us keep it and brought out the original one that we ordered. Wish we could try everything on the menu.

I can try Nobu at last. Great food with good presentation.
I had high expectations for Nobu. I liked it, but not sure if it was the best sushi/Japanese food in Las Vegas.
Great fish, great service, great sake!
I am not sure why the service gets a bum rap. Our server was excellent. He explained everything thouroughly including not making us feel bad when we didn't know how to drink the miso.
I ordered the omaske which was great. It had several large courses and was a steal at $100. My wife had lobster tacos, the beef, and tempura shrimp rolls which were very good. While expensive, I thought the lobster rolls and rock shrimp were the best dishes. I think the waiter's suggestion that we each order one or two cold dishes, a hot dish, and sushi would probably have been a little much given the portion size, but his intentions were good. You will want to share, and the large tables that we saw definitely employed a potluck atmosphere.
The bento box desert was definitely shareable, and the waiter didn't think twice about bringing a second spoon even though it was just part of my meal.
The atmosphere is definitely hipper, trendier, and maybe a little more skewed to younger diners, but what do you expect at the Hard Rock?
Given the rise in sushi restaurants in Vegas, I would probably skip it on my next trip, but I think that is a real compliment to the improvement in restaurants in Vegas overall.
