“Wow...”

Rosemary's Restaurant

I read about this restaurant here. Was tired of these overpriced places on the strip where service is poor, attitudes stuffy, and the prices are high. Vegas can give you a bit of five star casino overload sometimes. This place was off the strip 15 minutes in a quiet area. Frankly, the service was the best. Had a few generously poured cocktails while we waited for our entire party to arrive. Ambiance was homey. Hung out with the bartender and chatted it up. Place was classy, clean, well appointed and down to earth. Employees were friendly and made you feel welcomed. The menu and variety of dishes were out standing. Steak, pork, seafood, and poultry dishes made up a lot of the menu. Great salads and appetizers too. Prices were reasonable. We opted for the combo meal. One price and you pick appetizer, entree, and dessert for about $50 per person. You kidding me! This was by far the best meal I have EVER had at a restaurant. It was our anniversary and they really made me and the wife feel extra special. Do it, you won't be sorry. Make a reservation though. The word is out on this place and it was busy. Even still service was timely.

“Second time still wonderful”

We found Rosemary's two years ago on a website and thought it was worth the drive away from the craziness of the Strip to try something new. It was such a memorable meal, we decided to go back again this year and had yet another great meal. All the staff are first class and very attentive, room warm and inviting, food is fantastic and wonderfully presented without being pretentious. Rosemary's is definitely worth the drive or cab ride if you are staying on the Strip. Why choose a loud, noisy and annoying restaurant on the Strip when there are other wonderful choices. We look forward to our meal next year if only to have the stuffed figs with goat cheese and proscuitto appetizer once again. YUM!!

“Great Service, Some Great Food”

My husband and I were in Vegas(Oct 20th) for our 30th Anniversary and wanted to go to some good restaurants, so I saw Rosemary's had a $20.00 lunch, so we went. The cab was $40.00 plus tip round trip, I won't do that again. When I made the reservations, I mentioned we would be taking a cab. When we arrived, the hostess said "you will be needing a cab back, right?". How nice they remembered, and yes, when our dessert came they called a cab, without having to remind them.
Now the food, we both got the ceaser salad...very good, except the croutons seemed stale. My husband got the salmon...the BEST, I wish I had that. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich...Don't waste your money on that. I had the lemon ice box tart for dessert...very lemony...my husband got creme brule..very good.(Although some fresh berries would have made it excellent).
Would we go back....yes, no question...but we would share a cab!

“Absolutely Amazing Dining Experience”

Absolutely amazing lunch at Rosemary's on October 12. We used the Rosemary's website to have a price fix for lunch for $20 for three course meal. The service and food were wonderful. In our party was a culinary chef instructor and he agreed with us that Rosemary's was worth the $25 cab fare and was excellent. We ordered Salmon and oriental beef and a speciality chicken entree. The appetizers and desserts were amazing. The drinks were expensive but great. The service was beyond our expectations. We loved everything about this #1 rated restaurant and plan to return whenever we visit Vegas. You will not be disappointed if you try Rosemary's.

My husband and I ate at Rosemary's on Sunday, October 15. We chose the restaurant after reading about it on some internet sites and in several travel publications. We began to question our choice when, having started our trek by cab, we realised that we were looking at at least $25 to get there (from downtown).

On arrival we were told that our table wasn't ready yet. (We were early for our reservation.) We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and, right on time, the hostess came to take us to our table. We then proceeded to experience both excellent service and excellent food. We tried the $48 "prix fixe" menu which we thought was really quite a bargain. My husband had the veal and I had the ahi tuna as entrees - both were superb. I can't specifically recall our starters but we each commented on the unique flavours and excellent quality.

We also liked the fact that the portions were not huge. As it was 1/2 price wine night, we shared a bottle of wine with our meal. I gave our server two or three choices of wine we were considering and she steered us toward the least expensive of them, suggesting that it would go better with our choices - a nice touch as I have certainly been places before where you are pushed towards the higher end of things.

I agree with some of the reviews that the ambience is not glitzy - perhaps that's what some expect in Vegas - but frankly, we thought that a pleasant alternative to the fancy restaurants on the Strip. All in all, we had an excellent meal and will most definitely return to Rosemary's the next time we're in Vegas.
