I am surprised that no one has reviewed this show.

Disappointed is the verdict of this show. Surprised that alcohol is allowed in the theatre. There was a row of young chaps who were rowdy and although the staff tried to quieten them they should have been taken out.

The show content was lavish and the costumes Cher wore were wonderful and her voice and talent as a performer is without question BUT after each song she left the stage and we had to watch acrobats or scenes from her films.

At the end we were encouraged to stand and clap and Cher returned for one last song and then exited the stage and that was it. The show lasted exactly 1 and a half hours and as I said much of that time she was not on the stage.

Cher just didn't give of herself even though she had lots of encouragement from the audience.

Usually when people leave the theatre there is lots of laughter and chit chat as people have enjoyed themselves and they chat about what they have experienced but not this night. Silence as people left the theatre. This took an age as everyone had to leave via the same exit. Thank goodness there wasn't an emergency.

We were bitterly disapponted and after that experience decided we wouldn't see another show as this had cost us £100 each and we didn't want to chance another failure.

Sorry to give a negative review. I hope it was only this night but one that will stay in our memories as a waste of money.

The positives were that we had eaten beforehand at the Mesa Grill and that was amazing plus a thank you to the lovely cocktail waitress who had mixed us a surprise drink at one of CP bars.

It's Elton John. Enough said. I went with my sister in March and we are seeing him again in November. We had seats almost in the last row, but it didn't matter. The colosseum is small enough that we still had a great view. Elton is a flamboyant, over the top entertainer. You will see blow up [-]. If that offends you, I can't believe you actually left church long enough to go to Vegas.

My husband surprised me with tickets to see Elton John in concert at the Collusium for Christmas, but the tickets were for Valentine's Day. I never got to see Elton John in his younger years and couldn't have been more pleased. Elton John was fantastic! The only complaint I have is that the music didn't go on for longer! He is the ultimate performer and I never had such a good time! Excellent!!!

I am English and have just visited Las Vegas. I looked forward to seeing Elton John in the larger than life Las Vegas environment. All I wanted was to see Elton John and listen to him sing and play. Something he does and did well. This show was so offensive and particularly to women. I notice one review says not to focus on the video screen, with Elton sat on the left of the stage and the video taking centre stage it is very hard to focus on anything other than the props. The weird show detracts from the performance and god knows what was going on in his head when he allowed footage of dying solders, suicide attempts and the burning of women's private parts to go ahead. I am the same age as Elton and can remember paying peanuts to see him. A young woman of 26 who was at the concert had the same view as me, so I am not a grumpy old woman. I realise he has had a few knocks in life, but hey haven't we all? come Elton get over yourself and earn your crust. I have just read reviews from his concert last week in Yorkshsire, UK. down the road from where I live. No mention of offensive props and videos just admiration for his performance. I can only assume that his UK tour will be more traditional and I advise Elton to stick to that in future.

Don't go to Vegas to see Elton come over to the UK where he would never get away with the rubbish shown in Las Vegas.

I also didn't like the cronies getting up and dancing around the piano. I didn't pay $194 to see someones fat [--].

The music was great.
For the price we expected a little more than some blow ups around stage. The videos did not offend us but we just didnt find them entertaining and did not get some of the content. It was just plain weird.
With that said it was Elton John so the music speaks for itself. Would have liked an encore performance too. He did not even do one extra song. He bowed and walked off and it was over.
I am glad I saw it but it was a little disappointing especially for the money and it is Vegas where it should be over the top.
