The hotel is great if you are looking to stay off-strip and in an all-gay hotel. Very comfortable, good service. I booked on Fabugo.com - they had the best price I could find.

I thought that since this was my second trip here that I would get a nice room ..... I didn't ... I got the same shitty room on the first floor adjacent to the parking lot . And I paid 150 a night to stay in this shitty room. Sure the amenities are great with the pool, steam room, video room etc...... but when they tell you you are getting a NICE room, don't believe them ...... make them walk you to your room and THEN tell you hoe nice it is to be on the ground floor facing the parking lot.
The staff is wonderful ... but let's get some FOOD in this place. You come back from a night of clubbing and there is NOTHING to eat. They should at least have sandwiches for sale. I'm sorry to sound like a queen but I will never stay here (or anywhere else) that doesn't have 24 hour room service.
Blue Moon is "just ok" in my book. Great to get a day pass for fun ... but the title "RESORT" should be taken away from them. It is the BLUE MOON MOTEL

The Blue Moon has always been our fav place to stay in Vegas, but this time it was not quite up to speed. For the gay couple it is ideal, clean rooms, easy access, great location, wonderful jacuzzi, and plenty of cruising. It could be much better if the staff only paid attention to some small details. I don't like being critical but here is a small list:
1.When you promise a free upgrade after a few stays, please deliver, if only one time.
2.A working desk lamp would be nice, I requested one twice and got nothing from the staff.
3.Have exercise machine in working order.
4.Fill up the vending machines.
5.Room toilet kept refilling every 60 seconds, please fix (room 211).
6.Coffee is near gone or at the ugly bottom every morning after 9:00.
7.Have an extra blanket in the rooms, some of us love to cuddle.
8. An extra chair or table in room would be nice. Room really lacked counter space. What ever hapened to those small folding trays to put your suitcase on?
Just a few tips for the friendly staff and the super owner of this wonderful motel-that could be a real charm-just please sweat the small stuff.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Blue Moon over Presidents Day weekend. We had a deluxe room and really enjoyed the extra space. The king-size bed was very comfortable, one of the best "hotel beds" we can remember. Breakfast was available from 6:00-11:00--we liked that flexibility. The weather was chilly when we were there, so we didn't use the pool or hot tub (though some other guests did), but the pool area seems very nice. We did use the steam room, which we found to be a wonderfully relaxing amenity. The whole place is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are courteous and helpful, and the rates were great. We had a rental car--definitely advisable. The Strip is close, but there is no good way to walk there--lots of construction and busy streets with no sidewalks. Two minor complaints--it was a little difficult to control the room temperature, and one day housekeeping came when we were still in the room, but they did not return later to clean the room. Overall--a great place to stay! It definitely gives you a different experience than one of the big hotels/resorts. We look forward to returning.
