We stayed at the Flamingo Bay property after being directed there by Expedia. My wife and I have three teenage children and found the location safe, secure and so convenient. The pool area was great, the hot tub clean and the towel plentiful. They offered two barbecues that were nice, you had a full kitchen with dishwasher, and microwave and full laundry facilities. The staff was amazing, they did everything they could to make your stay enjoyable. We found our unit spacious and suited our needs well. The only critcism that I would have of this property and it seems like most hotels I have stayed in lately either three star or five star was that the level of cleanliness could have been a little better. If you look lclosely the cleaning staff cut some corners and the units could do with a good cleaning (behind dressers and under beds!). Otherwise it was great and I would definately stay there again.

After reading some of the reviews we were a bit worried about our visit as we had exchanged for 2 weeks. We arrived at the resort and were pleasantly suprised although smaller than most timeshares we were checked in efficiently and staff were welcoming. Apartment was lovely and clean with all the facilities you could need it was a 1 bedroom and to be honest loads of room for us 2 but with only one toilet in the bathroom it could be awkward with 4 adults if anyone is in the shower!! it would be better seperated from the bathroom and get rid of the dreadful plastic flowers. The resort was very safe and security second to none we didn't hire a car as there was a lot of road consructions and coming from the UK thought we would try and mangage without and thanks to the excellent shuttle service provided which was very reliable with very nice drivers we did fine. Shuttle also did trips to the supermarket and also downtown to Freemont. We used the pool which is a bit small and the sunbathing areas could be bigger with more sunchairs but very nice and friendly atmosphere. Their lunch cookouts were brilliant and very good value if you were around. Went to see V show also Fab 4 at P Hollywood which was excellent also American stars at the Srat not too impressed with that also Barry Manilow who although he had larangitis did his best to be the superb showman that he is. The buffets were all brilliant with so much choice some of the restaurants a bit expensive but plenty of choice. People think of Vegas as all casino's but we hardly bet a dime just went to enjoy the nightlife and the wonderful hotels. Met some lovely people at the resort and had a great time so had a great 60th birthday at a great destination.

One of the guys who went with us traded in his Florida timeshare for this one in Vegas. It was VERY clean and quite large. We had two bedrooms with two baths, a sleeper couch, kitchen, and full size washer and dryer. We were on the second floor, and never heard anyone next door, or below us. We always found a covered parking spot right near our unit, so we never had to walk far.

We didn't spend any time at the pool, but it did look nice. I don't think any of us were solicited by sales people, trying to sell us a timeshare. The shuttle to the Strip was very convenient. It took us just one day to figure out the schedule and it worked out great. We didn't have to worry about a designated driver, didn't have to worry about parking on the Strip, and the drivers were all great. We even took the city bus to the Strip on a couple of mornings, since there is a stop right outside the resort gate.

I would definitely stay there again. All the space in the unit, plus the amenities, and the convenience of the shuttle/bus made staying off the Strip not bad at all.

My husband and I stayed from 01/31-02/04 in a one bedroom. The place was huge- kitchen w/ fridge, stove, dishwasher; living room area with fireplace; small eating area; washer and dryer and bathroom. They claimed king-sized bed, but we're pretty sure it was just queen sized; the bed was a little uncomfortable.
If needed, you could walk to a nearby grocery store (about 3-4 blocks) and buy food to cook, making your trip a little more budget friendly.
The jacuzzi tub was huge- could fit four people! Down side to that was the hot water tank did not hold enough water to fill it.
There was a free shuttle directly to three places on the strip: Planet Hollywood, Treasure Island and MGM. The shuttle ran as scheduled, always on time every hour. Also, just outside the villa gates, was a public transit stop- for less than $2/rider you could easily get to Rio, Palms, or the Strip by bus; the bus ran like every five mins.
Our room could have been cleaner- we noticed dust around the lamps, moldings and vents.
Upon initial check-in they attempted to pressure us into a time share sales pitch, but I absolutely refused to listen; the sales manager continued, and my husband almost scheduled our time! I stuck to my guns and we did not agree to anything; they did not call or harass us after that. Note about Vegas: you'll get offered a time share sales pitch almost anywhere you are.
