We're staying at Tuscany now, and couldn't be happier. Our room - like all rooms here - is a suite, and a very fine one. All the buildings, all the pools, all the grounds, are first rate. And the price... I looked this hotel up at www.expedia-aarp.com and got a price of $23! Then called them up to be sure there's no construction going on (there isn't) - and they were happy to give me that same price, instead of what the lady said was her usual $25 charge! I wrote my friends in O.C.- and now they all want to come here too! Told my editor in N.Y., and she wrote back: "Tuscany Suites is where we stayed in Las Vegas the last two times we were there. We like it because the rooms are big and it’s easy to get in and out of by car (unlike staying on the Strip where the traffic is just as bad as NY)." The catch? I guess they're hoping we'll gamble away our savings at their casino. Not to worry- I'm just enjoying my fine $23 suite, and feeling very smart about it.

I just returned from taking my daughter to Vegas for her 21st Birthday. I actually let her decide where she wanted to stay and gave her a choice of a couple big name hotels on the strip and of course the Tuscany. Having never been to Vegas before and not knowing one Hotel from the next, she chose the Tuscany because of the ambiance and homey feel of the Tuscany. We were not dissapointed. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the pool area and the surrounding grounds. The prices there are very affordable($40 per night) and the food was excellent quality. I was shocked when we ordered a couple of frozen drinks to celebrate her turning 21 and couldn't believe they were only $5 each- in Vegas! Of course this is an "off-strip" hotel and there was a short walk up to Bally's to catch the monorail to get to the rest of the strip. We decided that the walk was OK during the daylight hours but didnt feel comfortable walking back to the hotel late at night, so we just grabbed a cab from the strip for under $10. There are very few downfalls to the Tuscany except that I think they should invest in their own shuttle to take people back and forth to the strip. Also the elevator in the building that we were in was painfully slow. Other than that, I would definitely reccomend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again-especially if you're looking for a a great value and an alternative to the hustle and bustle of the strip. After all, you don't go to Vegas to spend all your time in a hotel room. Put that extra savings into gambling, dining or shopping.!!!!

Just spent 2 weeks here, and cannot fault it.
Reception staff very helpful. Booked a king-size but they had none available. They offered us a room, and if we wanted to move to a king-size when one became available they would move us, no problem. Also asked for decaff coffee for the in-room coffee maker and within minutes we had a pile delivered to the room.
Room large and clean. Asked for a no-smoking room and got one. Maid service every day so had fresh towels daily.
Perfect location for the Vegas Strip as only 10 minutes walk away, so away from all the hustle/bustle but close enough if you want it.
Would recommend getting a 24hour or 3 day ticket for the Deuce bus. Can then hop on & off as needed.
Also, join the Players Clubs at the casinos for plenty of freebies, free play at the casinos etc.

We stayed at the Tuscany Suites for Mother’s Day Weekend. And while the room was large, clean and amazingly inexpensive the check in experience was very disheartening. What was a simple request to remove a credit card from the account (the hotel had already been provided with a primary card for all charges/deposits) turned into an insulting experience. The Customer Service Manager, Vic C. was unnecessarily condescending. We had arrived eager and excited for a long weekend in Vegas, but our first night was dampened by his reproachful behavior.

Stayed at the Tuscany Suites & Suites . It wasn't a planned stay. We were coming back from Sedonna and it was late and we had decided to stay off the strip to save money and the driving hassle. It was too late to shop around.
My husband said the lobby looked good. It smelled of cigarettes, because it was close to the casino, too bad it really invaded the place. Apparently not a high quality ventillation system. This is one of my biggest priorities when looking for a place. The casino had a resturaunt but I personally won't eat anywhere if there is the smell of cigarette smoke. There was another resturant outside the casino, but it was the same issue with smoke smell.
The room was very large. The carpets were a little soiled, but not awful. Otherwise the room was clean . We had a fridge and could buy some things at the store. The beds and pillows could have been softer, but still I did not lose any sleep. It was very quiet. We stayed mid-week so the pool was not crowded and warm.It was nice to not have to fight for a chaise lounge. Enjoyed my time out there. The casino was not the best. We spent minimal time there. Stayed two nights. They kept spraying the room with this horrible spray after cleaning.
Recommend Blueberry Hill Restaurant a short drive away on the same street for a huge breakfast variety served all day. Under $10.00 , worth the price. Excellent food , coffee and service. I'd recommend the Tuscany if you want to have some room , a fridge, and be away from the strip and just drive to it when needed. Try the Whole Foods store at the end of Las Vegas Blvd. for a great selection of pre-prepared fresh salads, entrees, and fruit, smoothies. They have a good produce section and the price was not bad at all.
