If you like to lose your money as fast as humanly possible then visit a station casino.
My friends and I used to gamble at stations all the time until they turned into the dump that they are today.
The machines are so tight you can almost hear them wince.
The place is always dirty.
The employees dont seem to care if you come or not if you can find them at all.
And lets not forget that great 2 for 1 deal at the buffet. Great I guess if you eat out of dumpsters.
The Fertitta family should be ashamed of themselves. If there properties say anything about there ethics and Idea of hygiene.
Lets not even talk about thier wonderful stations player points program.

Dropped by just to check it out.
Terrible!!!
Even compared to other casinos at the lower end of the market this must be one of the least appealing.

I help plan dozens of friends' trips to vegas each year. The wealthy ones? I tell them to stay at the Venetian (suites for $150/night weekdays). The poor college friends? Riviera or Palace Station.

Palace Station: a big casino/hotel that caters to "locals". That means the beer lady actually comes around every 20 min. They actually somewhat care about the dude at the $5 blackjack table. They want you to come back again.

Too many times have I been treated like a second-class citizen at the $10-$20 tables at Paris/Mandalay bay/etc. Do your gamblinig at Palace Station or the Sahara ($3-$5 craps, blackjack, etc).

If you stay at the Palace Station, just plan on spending $10 per cab ride to get to the southern Strip where the action is. Trust me -- the money you save by gambling at the cheap tables will much more than the cab fare.

FYI: don't go to Cheetahs unless you have a couple hundred bucks to blow in about 2 hours. Cheetahs has lots of hot ladies but the focus is on lap dances, not the center stage. The honies ignore you unless you are shelling out big bucks. Try ShowGirls (a Deja Vu company :)

Palace Station Casino was a great stay for the dollar and an excellent location since I traveled to Utah and California. The location was perfect since it was right off of the Interstate. I would definitely stay there again!

If you're looking for a deal, here is the place. I have been to Palace Station twice. I go every December to Vegas to escape the winter chill of Chicago. Here is the thing, though: I want a cheap vacation!! Palace Station is a good hotel to stay at if you're looking for a great deal in Vegas. The selection of restaurants they have in there are pretty good. I would either go to the Station Cafe, or the Buffet that is located on the top floor of the actual casino. The Buffet has several meals to choose from, all of which look and taste pretty good. Why should you believe this? I am probably one of the pickiest people you could ever meet, when it comes to quality, cleanliness and selection. With all the money that I saved from staying at Palace Station, I spent it playing the slots and touring the strip. Let's put it this way: Palace Station is the way to go if you're not looking to blow a fortune just for a place to sleep. The outdoor heated pool and hottub are pretty comforting as well.
