O'Sheas is a little casino on the strip unlike most of the big hotel / casinos. The main attraction of this place for me was the poker room, which has a $45 buy in tournament with very friendly staff and gamblers. The table service was great, the beers were cheap when i got knocked out, there were about 5 beer pong tables and there was a live band that played good covers for hours. It also had a subway and a burger king inside, which was very handy.

I spoke to one of the staff about the threat of closure and they said there were no plans to knock it down.

Overall it has a very relaxed feel and appeals to a younger crowd, probably because it's a really fun place to hang out and gamble.

Great place, great atmosphere, friendly dealers. Stopped in for a bit to put points on my Harrah's Rewards card last Saturday and ended staying about twelve hours playing craps. The temp inside the casino was very comfortable even though it was cold outside. The clientele is younger but not stupid young. The house band played pretty good songs, mostly current stuff and they seemed to play all night. A bit too loud to hold a conversation but not so loud my ears were bleeding. Between sets the music played wasn't as loud so that was nice.
The craps tables are centrally located so it was a good place to 'people watch' as well as make some money. As the night wore on (and became early morning), the dealers were very friendly and accomodating and intelligent. Good conversation, good people.
Yeah they have beer pong, but that is in the back of the place and the only time you have to pass by rowdy college kids is on your infrequent trips to the restroom. I would categorize this little place as a dive in the best possible sense of the word.
It's the best of both worlds, a nice, down home, small casino, that pays out in Harrah's Total Rewards comp points. Can't beat that!

We stayed at Imperial Palace so we'd always go by O'Shea's and would pop in for some gambling or a drink. They have cheap drinks, Miller for $2, lots of $5 tables which are hard to find elsewhere, and they even have Beer Pong tables! The atmosphere is good, music playing, usually have the games on at the bar. When I stopped by they always had a $30 buy in Texas Hold'em game going (limit and no limit), and if you want a quick bite to eat for cheap there's a Subway, Burger King and Pizza place in the back of the casino open late. It's nice to pop in and play a bit, but I wouldn't spend alot of time there....

O'Sheas Casino

Popped in here a couple of times while trawling up and down the strip. One of the older Casinos on the strip, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Old school Casino which has a fun atmosphere, it’s good to go in to see the differences between the modern ‘super-resort’s casinos’ like the Wynn. Also good to get a look at some of the older casinos left on the strip before they’re all replaced!

This is a little place on the strip that we love. It is small, and a bit loud....but so much fun. Great music. Cheap drinks. Beer Pong tourneys. Cheap places to eat tucked in the back.
We very much enjoy stopping it at O'Sheas whenever we can!
