Just returned from 4 day stay. The promo rate was a really great deal, we are very pleased. As for the rooms, they were very nice. We initially had a room on the back side, but upgraded to a very nice view of the Strip. However, the conditions were that it had to be a "smoking optional room". Reluctantly I agreed and entered the room fearing an old stale smoke smell which it thankfully did not have. Apparently the venting and cleaning system works good. After that, I then noticed we got stuck with an adjointing room. Having had VERY bad experiences with adjointing room doors, I was happy that it did have a good lock, however it had an inch of space on the bottom of the door in which the people next door could look through (the rubber piece on bottom of door was missing). We ended up putting our luggage against that door to block the view and cover up noises from filtering in under the door. A few days later people came in the next room and we could hear them talking, but this only happened when the air was turned off. Other than that, the room was nice and I had no problems at all getting a good nights sleep.

As for the rest of the Hotel, I really enjoyed it as well. We could hardly tell there is construction going on. I really like the slots there, it's the only hotel where I actually came out ahead playing the slots. The same happened last year too as I made up all the money I lost playng elsewhere when I started winning at the Alladin slots. Other people I know were not so fortunalte, but it works for me!.

The only part of the hotel that could use a little improvement is whoever answers the phone or makes calls. The hotel desk called us TWICE early in the morning waking us up asking for somone with our same last name. Then they refused to tell us why they asking this and who wants to know. They, along with just a few other workers there seemed very cold and nonchalant, but fortunately most of the others were pleasant.

After the some very minor problems, we really enjoyed our stay 6/19-22. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
