We attended TOK the first week in January with my husband's family. His parents, his great aunt, his brother, our 21 year old au pair from Macedonia, us (ages 33 and 42) and our two year old. With such a diverse group, it's not easy to find a Vegas show that will make everyone happy. This more or less fit the bill, with the exception of our 2 year old. I think older kids would really love this, but it does have some scary parts, it gets very dark, and the lighting and "explosions" can be startling. We had to take our little guy out half way through. It also really bothered his allergies with the dust and horse dander. They do give an allergy warning, but as his allergies are very minor, we thought he would be fine - he wasn't.

As for the rest of us, we all loved it with the exception of my husband who thought it was ridiculously cheesy (it is). But it was cute and entertaining. Our au pair absolutely loved it, and so did my husband's family. I definitely wouldn't return just the two of us, but I would take my older children here on a return visit.

The food really wasn't bad at all. I had read the negative reviews about that, and while it's far from gourmet, it's not a bad meal. They do have wait service for wine and beer which was we appreciated. The service of the wait staff was good, and overall it was a fun multi-generational evening out.

Is it good? YES YES YES! Is it bad? NO NO NO!....Huzzah..Drink...Ahhhhhh! What fun and merrymaking this show was....the food was decent enough...look folks this isn't a four star dining deal, this is unbridled fun...just go...try to hit tix-4-tonight and get the 58 dollar tickets for 34.50 usually for the 8:30 show...my kids (ages 6 and 9) loved it...after the show take pictures with knights and their steeds...the show will be packed, don't dally!

Leave Your Manners At The Door And Have Fun!

We left this for our last night in Vegas and it was great fun. To truly enjoy it you have to be in the right frame of mind; leave your manners, hang-ups, and inhibitions at the door and let your inner 12-year-old out to play and you’ll have a great time.

The food was, frankly, subpar but that feeds into the realism of the whole experience – there was no Wolfgang Puck in the days of knights so accept it as a part of the experience. This is not a dinner that happens to include a show; this is a show that happens to include a dinner. This is another attraction worth visiting the half priced vendors in advance for though.

This kind of show does not seem to fit with my usual interests (Star Trek: The Experience is gone and we need to accept that until its new home is ready) but I had a great time anyways. You don’t need to be a D&D geek or historian to truly enjoy the interactive fun of this show. You shout, you cheer, you boo and they ride horses and engage in period tests of strength and skill very convincingly – beyond that I’m not going to ruin it for you. If there’s any life left in your inner child, go check this dinner show out – how much you enjoy it is entirely up to you but there’s some great fun to be had if you give it a chance.

We enjoyed the show and were seated in the front row. But the food was not very good.... greasy half roasted chicken and soggy potatos and Broccoli, served withot utensils, so you ate with your hands. Wine or beer was available at an extra charge.

The show ould have been better without the food!

Having attended a similar type show, I pretty well knew what to expect with the Tournament of Kings. I was impressed with the horsemanship and the level of effort the performers put into this show. You could literally see the sparks fly when they clashed swords. Obviously this type show involves a lot of choreography - otherwise someone could get seriously injured - but I never felt the show was "staged" or "canned". The jousting looked authentic, but instead of using solid wooden poles they appeared to be tipped wth some lightweight wood like balsa. You got the effect without the danger.

As to the food - well, it was edible, but barely. The only thing that seemed to have any taste to it at all was the tomato soup. Everything else seemed to be unseasoned. Even the dessert was lame (some sort of apple pastry). Toaster strudel would have tasted better.

I would have felt cheated if not for the fact that I got discount (although not half price) tickets at Coca Cola World. As it was, I guess I got about what I paid for.

I believe if you get discount tickets you are automatically seated in the Dragon section, which means you don't have a king/country to root for during the fighting. I guess "Dragon" is a synonym for "cheap seats". Be forewarned.
