We visited several casinos on our trip, and just because we were at one time from New York State, we decided to walk inside New York, New York Casino to see what was in there. Sure, there's a roller coaster on the front of the building that was probably fun for those who like it, and there was a Statue of Liberty and a New York Skyscape (prior to 9/11) at the street, but otherwise, it was just another casino. In fact, we found it to be the least exciting of all we went into. There were some very overpriced stores with New York-ish type names, and "New York-style" pretzels and pizza, but there wasn't anything that drew us in to stay longer than we did. In fact, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't a Broadway-type area or show center--if there was, we missed it. We've been to New York--this isn't it. If you are just trying to give tourists who have never been (or will never go) to New York an "idea" of what it's like, it's not happening here.

Stopped here for two nights with a friend while driving across the country. We were able to get a great deal online and for the price we were really happy. Our room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Our A/C was not working, but someone was up to our room to fix it within minutes of notifying the front desk. There were so many food and entertainment options at the hotel there was no need to leave! The breakfast buffet was a great deal for the price. I don't remember the name, but a great classic rock cover band played in the casion one night as well. Our only complaint is how far we had to walk from the elevators to our room. It would be a great idea to request a room near the elevator. Would stay here again for sure!

Went there for the roller coaster ride.

Like these things are in Vegas you pay a high price, but it was fun and exhilarating.

Try to get a good glimpse of Vegas whilst travelling down the roller coaster.

The casino and hotel complex is not bad and appeals to a more family environment.

My wife and I have not had a real vacation for 13 years. We booked our room on line with the hotel, promply received a confirmation and the room rate. We also booked the "Zumanity" show at the hotel on line. The hotel staf could not have been more freindly. The Hotel was spotless and beautiful. Eveything was just as promised and as we hoped it would be. I would recommend NY NY Hotel and Casino to anyone wanting a special time with a great room, wonderful food and a most friendly staff. Thanks and we will be back
