Palms is nasty when you beat them. I won at blackjack and they wanted to trespass me. I was told that they did not like my skill level at blackjack and only wanted tourists who give away money. Very dirty group of people.

Got a great deal off a website to stay here before Thanksgiving for $50 a night, which was worth what I got. Rooms are good, clean, with a large bathroom, and view of neighboring tower and of the strip. Casino area is fairly lame, and houses a cineplex and some food courts so it had a very mall-ish feel to it. Mostly very young clientele (which they are targeting with tattoo parlor on premises) so I think really 19-21 yr old college kids would like this as a first time Vegas experience, not really for anyone else. It's too far to walk to the strip or old vegas so you have to cab it. And past midnight there seemed to be lots of single ladies playing the slots, directly in the path to the room elevators. Take that to mean what you will, just an observation. Overall good value, but more a first time Vegas place for kids on a roadtrip (with a vehicle).

Nice hotel. The room was comfy and clean, nothing to complain about there.

Didn't have room service, was not in room long enough.

My only bad thing is that some of the staff was a lil snooty. The Palms is a great place for people with money, or for the celebs, but the average person may find it as "over hyped". With its famous clubs, and Hart and Huntington tattoo spot, its more of a famous name then a place for the average person to stay.

Location sucks because its not on the strip, however they do offer shuttles. There is no mall or shoppping in the hotel only a small to medium size casino, tattoo shop, and the clubs. I would not peg this as a family spot, but more of a "to be seen" spot or just sttictly for good times.

Over all its cool, its not that I didnt like it, but If i were a celeb or had more money to dish out on the the really cool rooms, I would have enjoyed it more. They love the VIP's. Next time I would stay on the strip.

Stayed at the Palms May 11 to the 15th. We booked it through Travelocity months prior and called The Palms to confirm our reservation. Immediately the woman at the desk informed us our room was upgraded to the Fantasy Tower "no charge". Upon arrival the staff was excellent and very friendly. She informed us of the free passes to all the clubs (Ghostbar, Moon and the Playboy Club). With us not sure where we were going, the staff escorted us to the elevator up to our room. The room was very clean, huge bed, and new flat screen TV's. After settling in, we headed down to the casino for some drinks. The bartenders were very friendly and outgoing.

The following day we headed to the pool. My first impression was not good as Security searched us, bags and pockets not alowing any food, drinks or towels. Understandingly because they want you to spend money at the bar. After a few ours of sitting by the pool, we ended up sitting at the bar meeting some seemingly nice "folks" from KY. As we ordered a couple more drinks from the bar, a few guys (from KY) distracted us while my friend handed the bartender her credit card. Next thing you know, her credit card and drivers lisence was GONE! we immediatly asked the bartender if he had it. his reply was "no I just put them in front of you". After searching around we noticed one of the "gentlemen" from KY was gone. The bartender promptly informed Security and within minutes the CCTV tapes were reviewed and sure enough one of these fine "good ole boys" swiped it! It did'nt take long before myself the bartender and Security found him in the casino. Everything was returned :) THANK YOU GUYS!!!!
