The course is breathtaking and feels like anything but Vegas.

Be prepared to pay for the excellence though!!

Played here in August of 2006. You must be a guest at an MGM/Mirage property to play here. The greens fee was $500, but that’s not as steep as it sounds when you consider that it includes round-trip hotel transfers by private limo, driving range, cart, clubs, snacks and drinks, and shoes. Service was top-notch, and you may use a locker next to Tiger Woods’, Charles Barkley’s, or Phil Mickelson’s. The course was very nice. Not the best I’ve ever played, but well designed and maintained.

It is hard to believe that a $500 greens fee can be deemed a bargain, but this was quite simply the most awesome golf experience of my life. I have played Cypress Point, Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Kiawah Ocean, TPC-Sawgrass and many others. Only Cypress Point remotely compares to the beauty and serenity of this course.

Beg, borrow and steal if necessary to get on this course. If you are a true golfer, you must play this course.

I recently had the pleasure of being able to play the wonderful Tom Fazio designed course of Shadow Creek. I am someone who does not get to play such a caliber of course under normal circumstances so this was indeed a huge deal for me to have the opportunity to play such a great course.
After arriving by limo I was greeted by my caddie (Ric, if you’re reading this). Ric showed me around and got me settled in no time.
The staff at Shadow Creek was fantastic and made me feel very welcome. I then embarked on a round of golf that will forever live in my memory, not because of how I played by any means but because of the whole experience of playing a course that sets up so beautifully. While I had my moments (good and bad) getting around the course it was made an unforgettable experience by my caddie for one, and the course layout, challenge and breathtaking beauty that is Shadow Creek. I live in anticipation of being able to have the opportunity to play there again some day.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Shadow Creek for making my day there one I will always cherish.
