Had a horrible experience here in February of 2004. There were 10 of us celebrating some work related milestones. Arrived promptly at the hour of our reservation, and were ushered into a roped off area near the bar. No bar service for us--just trapped like cattle for 15 minutes.
Once they were ready for us, they ushered us into a private area---which had potential. Sadly, the room was the highlight of the visit. Since we were a "large party"--an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill--so our waiter treated us like an anoyance rather than as guests. The food was bland and unexciting. We ordered a variety of dishes--many of which came out cold---imagine a cold congealed roquefort butter on top of a Waffle-House grade charred steak----awful!!!! We had read about the vodka tasting room--and one of the ladies in our party even brought along a mink so we enjoy this experience. We were told that we could not take part unless we purchased a years membership or bought a bottle of vodka that had a minimum cost of $250. We were a well traveled group used to high grade restaurants, and unfortunately were very dissapointed. I suggest you go across the hallway to Wolfgang Puck's restaurant--the service, food, and overall value are much greater.
