Went to Blue Man with a group of 4. We were able to get tickets at 40% discount online (via smartervegas.com) and sat in the middle of the front row in the "poncho" section.

The show was very entertaining and funny, the music was really great and the glow in the dark band was pretty awesome. It's definately a little weird and I can see how its not for everyone. If you are debating whether you want to go and think you'll like it, you probably will. If you think it looks dumb, well... plenty of other shows to see if vegas. A nice touch is how the Blue Men (and the band) stick around after the show for pictures, autographs, and other such things.

Although I liked it a lot, there were a few things that I was less enthused with... the audience participation segments seemed to be pretty clearly plants which was kind of annoying because they made a big deal out of searching the audience for the volunteers (though their mannerism climbing over the crowd are entertaining).

As for those wondering about the poncho section, there is this segment involving twinkie eating, lets just say avoid the front row if you don't want to get messy. The second row seemed safe enough but in the middle of the front row I was covered in goo and plenty of it got under the poncho. I needed a shower and change of clothes after. Unfortunately, it was only about half way in the show so I sat with "twinkie" (later discovered to be banana mush) in my hair for about 40 minutes. I thought it was funny but I can see people being annoyed by it. The "paint" used didn't really get off the stage at all, I think I got a drop or two on me.

We went to see Blue Man and loved it. We took my 9 year old son. He laughed and really enjoyed himself. We sat on the 4 th row which were great seats. We got our tickets at one of the street vendors. We then had to go and get our seat assignments at the Venetian. I waited in line for over 50 minutes but got 150.00 seat for 75.00 and it was worth it. The theater is kind of small so I think any seat would be great and they do come out into the audience. They have 2 shows a night and was well worth the money. I think we would go back if we got the chance. We had to wear a rain coat because we were so close to the stage but it added to the suspense of the show for my son and he really enjoyed it.

If you love it you'll love it! Laughing from the start to the finish. Its a combination of mime and mainly drum music with some audience participation.

My husband has wanted to see the Blue Man group for years. I had done some tripadvisor research and found that reviews were very mixed....hence we opted for a different show and decided if we could get discount tickets, we'd also go to the Blue Man Group. Thank heavens we didn't pay full price for these tickets because it was not good at all! I actually fell asleep for a few minutes, as did another person in our party. I am not sure what all the hype is about this show as I would recommend it to no one. There is so much better entertainment out there, don't waste your time or money here. If you do decide to go, have a few drinks before you get there!
