We picked this chapel to get married because of the name and the reasonable price for wedding packages, particularly live web broadcast of the ceremony. It seemed fairly starighforward as I received answers to most of my emails but unfortunately some of my questions were conveniently forgotten in responses. This meant we got caught out as it is expected that you "tip" the minister and the photographer $50 each.

We also discovered on the day that no one was allowed to photograph or video inside th chapel which, if you want any memories, forces you into paying the $600 plus tax for photos taken by the photgrapher....not the sort of change you carry around in your wedding outfit!!

The minister was lovely and made the service very personal. I would recommend this venue, which is located too far from the strip to walk so be aware of how long it will take to get there, as it is a lovely as it seems on the website but just be carfeul of the "extras" you will be expected to pay for.

We got married at Cupid's on the 31st of December 2006.Right from the initial phone call to inquire about the chapel to the actual wedding, we found the staff to be helpful and professional at all times.

We had an Elvis wedding using Eddie Powers, he was great fun although he turned up a bit late (we weren't too bothered as it gave us more time to consume some champagne to calm our nerves) but even so, we never felt rushed at any time despite it being a very busy day for wedding's.

The chapel itself if quite a bit past the Stratosphere tower and the area is a little run down (then again, everywhere off strip seems like that because the strip is so OTT) but this is where many of the wedding chapel's seem to be. Inside the chapel is clean and cute and we got some fantastic pictures standing in front of the stained glass windows.

We bought all the photographs on the cd, about 100 shots. We also got a dvd of the ceremony and it was broadcast live on the net so our family and friends could watch back home in Scotland. We didn't feel under any pressure to purchase any pictures but it's the biggest day of your life and $500 dollars for a lasting momento of your wedding is a lot less than you'd pay in the UK!!

I got a lovely fresh single rose to carry and my husband got a rose buttonhole.

The Reverend John who performed the official ceremony (after Elvis had left the building :) was absolutely fantastic, we found him warm and sincere and he made us feel really special and relaxed.

I've read some negative reviews of Cupids and I've came to the conclusion that those other couples just didn't do their research properly, especially regarding 'hidden costs' They tell you at the time of booking that you will have to tip the photographer & Minister etc In Vegas you tip EVERYONE! We tipped $100 dollars but they recommend $60-$100. Ok so the cost add's up but if you know about it you can budget for it before hand.

All in all,we had a wonderful, fun experience at Cupid's and have fond memories of our wedding day. We're already thinking about renewing our vows there in a couple of years!!

Thanks Cupid's x

My husband made all of the arrangements at Cupids, overall it was not such a baaadd experience, but the fact that we werent from Vegas made it uncomfortable transportation wise, we were definitely impressed with the pricey prices for the photos, although they were just divine, (WE REALLY WERE A CUTE COUPLE) lol we really liked all of the photos we felt a little rushed in deciding which ones we could afford/wanted and they wolud not negotiate at all. WELL I MUST SAY THE MINISTER WAS QUITE IMPRESSIVE, AND SO WAS MY GOWN AND MY HUSBAND TUX, !!!!!!! I would recommend Cupids to others, my cousin actually referred us and I thank God for my husband and for the experience as well, So its not soo bad, Just thank God for the time now.!!!! IT COULDVE BEEN WORSE!!!!!!

We got married at Cupid's on 9th May. The staff were really friendly and it was a great experience from start to finish.

I used their changing room on arrival, which was bigger than I expected. I didn't upgrade my flowers so I had a single red rose, which was lovely. The photographer was great - I hate having my photo taken so he had his work cut out!

The minister was very good, calm and friendly. We had Elvis (Darren Lee), too. He was excellent.

We then chose the photos and stuck to the ones we got as part of our package. We got lots of help choosing, even though it was obvious we weren't going to spend any extra money.

We were given envelopes to tip the minister (suggested $60-$100) and the photographer (same amount suggested). We knew that was going to happen, so we weren't surprised.

We had a great time and the whole thing was a great experience.

We'd highly recommend Cupid's!

We were married at Cupids Wedding Chapel in March '06 and we mostly had a great time. We chose this chapel as they had a good website, and offered the whole package, of the limo, flowers, a first dance, hiring the wedding dress and tux, and it could be viewed live on the internet, or recalled for 3 months on the website, so that our friends and family at home could join in too.

I had made several phonecalls to Cupids regarding details, and had requested emails of confirmation, but never received any back. However, things mostly went to plan. When choosing the dress and tux - we hadn't realised that a different Limo and driver would pick us up, meaning that we had to tip two lots of drivers both that day, as well as the wedding day.

I struggled to find much choice with the available wedding dresses, but after lots of changing, I did find one that looked nice for the day.

The flowers weren't exactly as they had looked in the photos on the website, but they were pretty and the right colours.

One thing that was stressful was that the Chapel had only allowed 20 minutes for the Limo to pick us up and get us to the Chapel. It came a bit late, and the Monday traffic was awful, so we arrived late. Then, by the time we had sorted the paperwork, and downloaded the music that we wanted, the service started 30 mins late - a pain for those staying up to watch it live in the UK, and made me feel really rushed, which I could have done without.

On the whole, though, we really enjoyed the service. The Reverend was great, and it seemed very personal to us. He did forget to do the Unity Candle Service bit - but I think that was because we came late and were rushed a bit.

The photographer took some good photos in the Chapel. I wasn't really interested in the studio shots, but to get the shots we did want, we ended up having to buy the whole package - which did work out at lots of $$$$s! As you can't take any of your own photos, though, there wasn't much choice if we wanted to walk away with something to remember the day by!!

We were really worried when we read the other reviews, and thought it may be an awful experience, but it wasn't. We enjoyed our day, but had to allow lots of extra money for tipping all the different people involved!

It was lovely to walk away with our marriage certificate, CD, video, bottle of bubbly and two glasses, for later. It was more expensive than we expected, but we really enjoyed our service and the wedding.
