If you are planning to renew your vows Vegas style - go to the Graceland Chapel! Superb fun!

We have been married nearly 15 years, and when in Vegas.....

Booking the ceremony was easy. You can do it online, but I phoned them up and had a chat. the limo picked us up on schedule, and we all enjoyed the ride. The kids were absolutely horrified at the whole thing, and sat in the back trying to hide. But, Elvis had obviously encountered this before, and involved them in just the right way by calling them forward for photo's at the end. We had a great time with the ceremony, and ultimately we have some superb family photo's despite the kids embarrasment. One of them is Elvis having both kids in a headlock!

Somehow, despite the fact you are being blessed by an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas it just isn't tacky. It was well done, and we felt it was a meaningful ceremony even thought we couldn't stop laughing.

Being happily married is rare these days, and something to celebrate. I can honestly think of no better way of celebrating it than a vows renewal, and here it the best place. Have a look at the videos on you tube.

Top marks for Elvis and the chapel!

We got married here back in April, travelling from the UK with friends and family. I can honestly say this place was awesome, it certainly was the best day of my life and they made it that way. The location is great, towards the end of the strip, and it looks really pretty and quaint outside. The Limo turned up bang on time at our hotel and was lovely and clean. They had everything ready as I had asked for flowers etc. The Elvis we got was brilliant he really made the day. Also the minister was great, the whole service was lovely, our wedding party loved it all, as did we. Plus everyone who has seen the video online have all complimented it and say how amazing it was. I can't praise this place enough but if you are looking for something really special and different then go for it!

My husband wanted an Elvis Vegas wedding for our original wedding, so we made a deal: We would do it for our first wedding anniversary. So one year to the day (May 17 2009) we found ourselves at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas. When you first walk in, the receptionists/office managers were so nice. It only took minutes and our ceremony was underway! I guess I didn't know what to expect but be ready to have some fun with Elvis, if you are the fun/spontaneous type. This may not be the thing for you if you are a wallflower. Elvis had us curling our lips, doing pelvis thrusts, karate stances and shaking our legs. We were even singing and dancing with him! We were definitely up for all of it so we had a GREAT time! We were actually surprised too that the photos turned out so well! Make sure you opt for the DVD too. It will have you cracking up later. They also have some really fun t-shirts too for reasonable prices. My favorite souvenir from the trip!

A WORD OF ADVICE....
Spring for their limo service! I believe it's available for a $35 tip to the driver. We took a cab there (over $20 from the MGM Grand including tip), thinking we could easily grab a passing cab on the way back. NOT so. Apparently even if you call for a cab they will be at least an hour late, because they assume that since it's a wedding everything will run behind schedule. Ladies, be prepared to hoof it a few very long, hot blocks in your heels to Freemont Street to grab a cab if you don't opt for the limo. In the end the cabs cost more, and involved an uncomfortable walk to find a cab.

For our 25th wedding anniversary we wanted to do something fun, like getting re-married by Elvis in Las Vegas. Based upon all of the positive reviews of the Graceland Chapel, we booked to have our vows renewed by Elvis.

I can honestly say that all of the other positive reviewers were right. We had a blast. The entire process from booking online to getting picked up in a white, stretch limo to the ceremony were handled smoothly and professional.

Justin, our limo driver, picked us up from our hotel on time as promised. My wife really appreciated the 'classiness' of the chapel. It was a free standing building that could have been a little church anywhere in the country.

Elvis made the ceremony, putting us all at ease from the start. The photographer snapped a ton of photos which we then ordered online once we got home and we walked out of there with a DVD of the ceremony.

I can't imagine a better experience than what we had at the Graceland Chapel.
