I have seen many magicians and Rick Thomas ranks among one of the best. Excellent bird routine. He mixes a lot of sleight of hand with the major stage illusions. The show moves quickly and blends well. The only compliant I had is the show is a little short. Just one hour. I live just a short drive from Branson, Mo. and I'm a little spoiled by receiving a two hour show for the price of the one hour Vegas shows. But according to Vegas pricing the show is a bargin even if it is just an hour. If you are looking for an entertaining value priced show forget Pen & Teller, Lance Burton, and the others give Rick Thomas a try, you will be surprised!!!

My kids ages 8 and 11 did not like this show much. We also saw Mac King which they loved. The host talks incessantly about himself and even shows you home movies of himself. We came to see magic not hear this guy do a tribute to himself. He was really rough with the kid he chose as a volunteer from the audience-pushing him and pulling him around, it was creepy. The cheesy go go girl type dancers in thigh high boots and tiny shorts were really not what kids want to see. They found it cheesy and the only part they really like was seeing the beautiful white tigers. The illusions seemed like a rip off of David Copperfield. Also, constant plugs for all the stuff he tries to sell you after the show. Skip it and see Mac King instead.

Great show for the family. Had my two girls (10 and 9) in Vegas for the weekend in between work engagements and looked for a family show. Rick Thomas came highly recommended and I concur! Girls were absolutely fascinated and intrigued with all the tricks and the tigers. Price is just right for my budget and to top it all off, Rick meets with audience at the end of the show and signs autographs. My girls purchased two stuffed animal tigers and had them signed. Rick could not have been more personable. Well worth the money! I've seen Siegfried and Roy, as well as others during trips to Las Vegas and elsewhere in the world but can't think of one that is any better for the entire family.

This was a great show and I really enjoyed it. Wish we had the kids with us, because its perfect for kids, but nice for adults too. Its not too crowded, which was great and the seats I originally had were moved so we could sit closer which was great too. This man is a great magician, with white tigers, volunteers from the audience and hot chicks involved in his act. Rick also shook hands with everyone after the show and posed for pictures and signed autographs. He was a really down to earth guy, who seems to like what he does and he does it well. I would go to see this show again.

The Rick Thomas show is not too bad. I found it to be very entertaining. Rick Thomas does a comedy bit combined with some good magic. I've seen the show twice, and the second show was exactly the same as the first time (word for word), I would recommend seeing it once. Take a break from the casino and watch a good show. It's not as good as other magic shows I've seen in Vegas, but it's also not that expensive (compared to the $75-$85 for the other shows) It's only about twenty bucks, and if you pull the free slot machine (on the way into the casino through the bridge), you will most likely get a coupon for "buy one get one free". I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good time at a good price.
