I've been coming to Las Vegas for conventions since 1990, so I've stayed at just about every major Strip hotel. I convinced my wife (her last visit was in '89, she hated it) to give Vegas another try for my 49th birthday (it helped I got Celine tickets). We stayed at Paris and got the upgrade to get the view of the Strip, which included the Eifel Tower, the pool and the Bellagio fountains. We were up on the 20th floor, had a great room, fabulous view. We used the Ambassador check-in feature, which means you call in 2 hours before check-in, get to the head of the line and into your room with no fuss, Great concept. As we headed down the hall to the elevators, we stopped at the pastry shop for some killer French pastries to take the edge off our hunger before dinner. We took a box of them home the next day, they were so good!. We walked to Caesar's for dinner and the show, came back over to the Bellagio for gelato and a couple of the fountain shows, back over to the Paris casino for some table fun and then off to dreamland. A very romantic evening and a very nice stay. The service all arouind was efficient, courteous, and prompt. We asked for extra pillows and got them in 5 minutes. Nicely appointed room with overstuffed chairs and a table by the window, great for enjoying the view. Great selection of toiletiries in the bathroom, huge shower separate from the tub, which most Vegas rooms don't have.
My wife says to plan on her coming next year!
BTW- I thought Celine's show was fantastic, this coming from a guy who wouldn't be caight dead listening to her in the car. What a performance. It helped we have 2nd row, center seats. Hint... pay the extra $25 to join her club, you get preferential seating...
