Have stayed at other Harrah's properties so thought we would try this hotel just for a change. VERY hot outside 108 and sitting in a black car waiting for valet to get to us was not really the way to start the vacation. They had only two people working the valet at noon and not blaming them but they were walking very slow when going to cars. There were about ten empty cars ahead of us and each of them had to be parked prior to anyone even talking to us. Okay now we move to the inside which is very cold and the checkin went pretty smooth. We were asked if we wnted an upgraded room for an extra $40.00 per night so we said sure. The lady checking us in was nice, but we to ask how to get to the elevators as no directions were given to anything. The way this hotel is laid out getting lost is easy to do. Made it to the room which had a good view and the room itself was very nice. As we were unpacking room service came in and put a $8.00 bottle of water in the mini bar as she had forgotten earlier. Found out had she not done that we would have been charged for the water. Three days here turned out to be ok but not special enough to return. The check out was a nightmare at 9:15am went to the front desk to check out because we could not see the bill on the TV. After a short wait stepped up to the desk and the lady working it just looked at me as if I was intruding in her life. I had to start the conversation by telling her I was checking out, at this point she told me the computers were being upgraded and I could not see the bill nor have a copy but would just need to trust that it was correct and they would send me a copy of the FINAL bill if I really wanted it. Ever leave someone a blank check and hope they don't take all of your money? I gave this lady my fax number and ask her to send my bill as soon as possible. Two days later I had to call again to try to get the bill, guess what the computer system had not beeen upgraded it was just broken, big difference. I did get my bill faxed but will not be going back as I do not like being lied to or asked to just trust that my final bill will be sent to me without me looking at it.

Everthing went smooth as silk...recommend the restaurant Mon Ami Gabi which has great seating outdoors, opposite the Bellagio fountain show. The
meal was good too! All in all a great location and nice hotel.

Arrived on Father's Day, June 21, 2009 for a three night stay. Check in line was long; however, they had many employees working so it seemed to go quick. We got their most basic room, I think they call it a luxury or deluxe room, whatever, it was comped for all three nights so I didn't care. They offered us a Suite for $85 per night. The checkling told us their suites usually go for $550 per night. We declined. Then they offered us an upgrade to a Red Room for an additional $40 per night. No thanks. We are no-frills type of people who are rarely in the room anyway, besides their basic room is more than adequate. We were given a King, Non-smoking on the 8th floor. Not much of a view but we did see a little of the Bellagio. Bathrooms are gorgeous, all marble, stand up glass shower, great toiletries. Wonderful Beds, the best sleep I had of our entire two week vacation. I highly recommend the Paris, the location, restaurants, casino are all fantastic. You will not be disappointed unless you are the type who is never happy. I can't believe some of the things people find to complain about on trip advisor, keep in mind some people just can't be pleased.

Oh well, we appreciated the free stay and enjoyed every minute of our visit!

Amazing stay at the Paris. Our casino host arranged the entire stay for us and I do have to say that I was expecting a little better service, considering we were preffered, and comped guests. We were actually upgraded to a larger suite than anticipated, which was great and the room was very nice, with a beautiful view of Vegas. The only thing that needed replacing was the couch, but besides that everything was beautiful. The bathroom was particularly superb, and there was plenty of closet space, a wet bar and even a separate dressing area. The service was ++ and the staff was extremely responsive. We needed a lightbulb change and someone came within 5 minutes. Room service was also very quick and the hotel was surprisingly quiet.

Great blackjack & roulette tables. The only qualm I do have is the lines for restaurants there were terribly long, and we usually ended up walking to Bally's (which is connected) for a diner-like breakfast and 'faster' food. There was never a wait for cabs and the pool had wonderful misters, considering it was in the middle of the summer and extremely hot, but wasn't insanely crowded, which was nice. The casino was never dead, even at all hours of the night. Business center was great and the plane ticket machines were available right near the elevators. Great experience.

This is my fourth trip to Las Vegas and my second time staying at Paris.

We took the Showtime Shuttle from the Airport - $12 per person round trip. I have always used Showtime and find them to be prompt, reliable and affordable. Only issue is that you get dropped off by the side door and have to walk a bit to the lobby. A cab drops you off right at the main entrance.

We arrived around noon and checked in right away - no lines and our room was ready. We selected a Red Room without a view. The room was okay - not as nice as the Augustus Tower at Caesars, but it was less expensive. The bathroom has a small tub, shower and toilet all in one room. Augustus Tower room has a separate water closet and jacuzzi tub. But - how long are you in the bathroom in Las Vegas? The shower door didn't quite close all the way and therefore water leaked and the toilet ran a bit ... again, not big issues, but just small things that kept me from giving Paris a five star review. The room was fine for what we needed.

The pool is on the third floor of the hotel and that's nice because you don't have to walk through the casino or shops in your bathing suit like you have to a Mirage, Caesars or MGM. The salon and spa facilities were fine - I had a manicure and got my hair styled for my wedding. My husband used the steam room and liked it - although it wasn't anything fancy.

The restaurants, cafe, and shops are all located together and that is also nice because you don't have to walk all over the place to get a coffee in the morning. It's easy to get in and out of the hotel and there's a walkway through Bally's to get over to Bellagio. Once you figure out the path, it's very easy to navigate.

The casino was fine for what we needed, not as big as others, but I never had a hard time finding a slot machine I liked. My husband frequented the Sports Book and always received friendly service. I had never bet on sports before and the associates were very patient and friendly during my learning curve.

The best thing about Paris is the location. It's right in the middle of the Strip and easy to walk to the other hotels. We'll stay somewhere else when we go back, but only because that's part of the adventure to try out different hotels. I definitely recommend Paris.

A few other notes of interest:
Peepshow - take it or leave it ...
"O" - finally saw it, it's excellent!
Zefferino's at the Venetian - amazing food
Diablo's at Monte Carlo - fun atmosphere and good food
Nathan Burton at Flamingo - fun time, appropriate for kids
