We stayed here comped, so I can't say much about the price. The room was nicely sized and really clean. We were on the 12th floor, and didn't hear any noise come bed time. You can beat the location, and the pool area provides a good getaway from the chaos of the strip (especially during 2 for 1 happy hour). We were pleased with our stay here.

The Paris Hotel is fine, except for the staff who runs the cabanas. Apparently, when you reserve a cabana, you can actually be connected to the Bally hotel rather than Paris.

Therefore, you are actually being quoted Bally prices and reserving a Cabana at the Bally.

The staff at Paris will not accomodate this mistake, blaming it on the hotel operator rather than accepting any responsibility for the miscommunication that is the result of their company.

The end result, a higher priced cabana (75.00) shaded by the Eiffel Tower all day. When I politely complained to the managers (Miranda and her boss Stephanie), they were simply pedantic. They even said some guests like the shade. Who pays $325.00 a day for a cabana all day in the shade? I will no longer stay there and with so many different options in pools, I will avoid their cabanas all together. Isn't the point of a cabana to have sun and shade?

Enough said, spend you pool side money elsewhere.

This is a bit of a late entry...

I stayed at this hotel for my B'day in 2006.

I did a lot of research and it paid of.. The Paris has a prime location on the strip and unlike a lot of the other hoels i looked round it isnt too big you get lost on the way to the elevator.

The rooms are nice, not the most luxurious you will ever stay in, but for the amount of time i spent in mine it was fine...

I would say for the price and location this is one of the best value hotels on the strip...we got it for £100 a night, which when you compare it to hotels in Britain, it rates pretty good.

My husband & I stayed @ the Paris for 5 nights. The reviews were pretty good so we thought we'd try it for our first time to Vegas. The hotel is very pretty, classy looking & centrally located. The king sized bed we requested, was not available the day we arrived but they said call back to the front desk the next day & they would se what they could do. We did & we accepted an accessible ( handicapped) room. It had a tub but not a separate shower like most other rooms. It was fine w/ us. That room was large & comfortable. Housekeeping was prompt & friendly. We had an ok view but nothing great since we did not upgrade. We did not use the pool but we checked it out 1 day & there was not any loud music like listed previously by a reviewer.

The hotel & casino lobby is one of the busiest we saw on the strip. It was always very crowded & very smoky. Including cigars. Yuck, but the smoking is like that all over. Plus, Paris has a cigar store in house too. Once you get thru that, its not too bad. The elevators were different since we're not used to staying in high-rises. It had 2 sets of elevators one for floors 1-15 ( or so ) and the other for 16-25, in different locations. Kind of confusing since there is so much to look at there. The self-parking garage is in the rear of the hotel & is free, like most in Vegas but if you arrive late in the day like we did, jet lagged & exhausted, its hard to figure out. When you turn into the hotel, and want to self park & not use bellhops, keep to the far right & the garage is on the left. There are elevators that go to the casino but its a good haul & probably worth it to have them bring up your bags but we were too cheap!

Our biggest issue was when we wanted to do a late check-out since our flight was not until after 10 pm. We called days in advance to see if this was possible & no one would give us a straight answer. It was always call back later. Finally, I got mad & questioned the person who answered the phone & said this was the 3rd time we called to no avail. She said that I had to call back after 7 am of the day of departure & then its up to the manager on call and it depends on if they are @ full capacity. She couldn't or wouldn't tell me how much it would be. Once again, it was up to the mgr on call. We finally gave up. Also, use the hotel tv for express check out. Lines can be awful there checking in or out but we noticed this is a common problem where ever we went.

We ate @ one of the restaurants in Paris, it was one right by the casino. It was one of the more reasonably priced places there. We got sandwiches & appetizers & it was very good. We ate @ LaSalsa on the strip too and it was very good as well. Service was not top rate @ either but it was ok.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay there & would stay there again. We thought the location of the hotel was a huge plus. We walked to the other end of the strip and the Paris side is cleaner, newer & classier.

We visit Las Vegas every year in May, and try to stay at a different hotel each visit. This year we stayed at Paris Hotel and Casino, directly on Las Vegas Boulevard. It's curbside eye appeal is realistic, from the fountain, Eifel Tower, outside dining, and the music. Inside the hotel, the ceiling is painted sky blue, which gives the impression of being outdoors. There are many different places to eat, inside and outside. That said, we found the front desk staff very unfriendly, not receptive to our questions, and they did not give us directions when we got our room key. The reception area is very congested, and very close to the outside door, and casino, so you are always dodging people with suitcases, people trying to eat, people standing around looking, etc. Upon arriving in our room, it was nothing but average. The walls were thin, you could hear people coughing in the next room, and if you are at late sleeper....(who isn't in Las Vegas), you get to wake up to the sounds of the maids yelling back and forth to each other in the hallway as they clean rooms.

All in all, the stay was average. Upon check out, we went to the VIP lounge and talked to the casino host, who gave us money off our hotel stay, based on our rate of playing the slot machines. At least that helped ease the pain.

The restaurants are superb, the bartenders are great, and the live entertainment is awesome. Last year we stayed at the sister property of Bally's (owned by the Harrah group also) and would definitely stay there over the Paris next time. Paris is much better to visit then to stay overnight in.
