We'll send you updates with the latest deals, reviews and articles for Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Las Vegas each week.
My husband and I just got back from staying at the Paris Hotel, and really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were clean. The hallways were quite and the casino was smoke free, unlike some of the older ones, where you can't breath.
The only thing missing, was a mini fridge, in our room.
I enjoyed my stay at Paris last January. When it comes to the view it provides, I don't think nothing beats Paris. Let me explain from my experience.
Whenever I visit Vegas, I try different hotels to see how I like them. The first time I went to Vegas was back in 2000. I didn't know anything about it, and I stayed at a hotel called Sahara Hotel. It was actually very affordable and very close to Hilton (where the conference was held), but when I tried to reach the main part of the strip (Bellagio fountain, Forum Shop...etc), I had to walk to the point I got soaked with sweat and my legs got numb. Second time, I stayed at Harrahs, which turned out to be OK. Nothing to brag about, but close to where the major shows are and very affordable. Caesars Palace was a big disappointment. It's much more expensive than other hotels in the area, but the room I stayed was very generic (with ordinary bathroom and beds) with a dismal view of the parking lot. Come to think of it, most rooms at Caesars Palace seems to have same kind of views. Unless you are ready pay a lot of money and stay at the rooms of the Augustus Tower facing Bellagio, this hotel does not provide any views of any kind. Venetian, less expensive, was OK. All the rooms are suites and the basic one I stayed at provided enough space and the bathroom looked gorgeous (better than Bellagio, and probably the best on the strip). And this hotel is scented wonderfully (kind of magnolia/lilac-ish). The problem was the view, again. You can look down on the Mirage volcano, but other than that, virtually no views at all. Deluxe Lakeview room of Bellagio was OK at best. the room was not that large and the window was kind of small in size. The bathroom was mediterranean (sort of), but the artificial vases looked weird and after experiencing Venetian, it's just plain-looking. You can look down on the fountain, but the window is so tightly built in that you don't hear a thing from outside. You have to turn on the TV and turn to some channel to listen to the fountain show music. It felt weird standing at the narrow window looking down on the fountain "down there" while listening music coming from the TV set behind.....Never again.
When I got to the front desk of Paris, I asked for a room in the northwest wing (as north as possible). The room I reserved was called Premiere (as opposed to Luxury) and they're the more expensive rooms and they're facing the strip. Based on what I learned from this trip, the Premiere rooms are numbered XX23, XX21.....XX03, XX01 then XX76, XX78.....XX94, XX96, from south to north on each floor. My room was 2196. I was pleasantly surprised by its view! Just because Paris is shaped like a cross looking from up above, none of the premiere rooms provide straight-forward view of the Bellagio fountain. The views are a little bit oblique. And unfortunately, the maintenance people don't seem to keep the window (outside) clean, and you'll find some dirts on the outsideof the windows. Looking at the Bellagio fountain and the Eifel Tower through my window, I quickly learned that though you choose Premiere rooms, you may have bad luck having the Eifel Tower in your way blocking the view of the fountain! Looks like the center of the Bellagio (shaped like a tripod) and the Fountain is about 1/4 block more north than the center of the cross-shaped building of Paris and the Eifel Tower. So, (this is my guess with IQ of 164 based on my own observation), if you stay somewhere between XX13, XX11...... XX03, XX01, probably, the Eifel Tower will be located in the dead center of your view. If you go all the way south towards XX15, XX17......XX23, you'll have a decent view of the Fountain with the nothern part of it being blocked by the Eifel Tower. Actually, the view from my room (2196) must have been better than any other Premiere rooms on the same floor, because the Eifel Tower is far left in your vision and it does not block the view of Bellagio at all. I thought it was the best view, having a full view of the Bellagio fountain with Eifel Tower and the arc of Triumph on its side. I loved it.
Actually, there was another surprise waiting for me. I must have dozed off in bed (looking forward to the shows that night). I was waken up by the sound almost like thunders. I thought it must have started to rain.......wait. I'm in Vegas, where it almost never rains...... Turned out it was the fountain show. The windows of Paris Hotel are kind of dirty, but it's not firmly built like Bellagio, and you can actually hear and feel the fountain show from your room! At night, the Eifel Tower is illuminated, and the fountain shows looked enchanting!
If you're looking for a hotel which is affordable and comes with a great view, I strongly recommend Paris. Book Premiere Room, and ask for XX94 or XX96 on the higher floor. The lower you are, the less great view of the fountain since the Eiffel Tower gets thicker towards the ground. You need to expect some dirts on the window (not that bard, though), and a very unremarkable bathroom and beds. But once you enjoy the fountain show from there, you'll agree with me! They provide the best view on the strip!
I stayed here arriving on Dec. 25th. My fiance and I met my parents there, so it was a great little family reunion/vacation. My parents had a non smoking room and we had a smoking room thus we were on different floors. Our room was much nicer. We had new furniture and a very comfortable bed. My parents room was just not as nice. It was apparent our room had been recently renovated. That's just the risk you take in staying somewhere so big, some rooms will have been more recently updated.
While our room was superior to my parents room, both were very nice, and I would say worth the room rate. The hotel and casino was really nice. I would reccomend this place to others.
I would not reccomend the room service. We ordered late at night, and it took forever to get the food which turned out not to be too tasty. If you're looking for a good late night snack head to the coffee shop at TI.
We stayed from 16 - 19 April. We arrived by car after a leisurely drive across the Mojave Desert. Entry to hotel is not too obvious when you're not too familiar with Las Vegas especially with all that traffic around you. Nor was the self park garage easy to spot. It is down a access road on the RHS of the hotel. But once we figured this out it was simple matter to find a car park close to the lifts - easy on a week day.
The lobby linking the car park building to the hotel is beautifully decorated in what one would expect in a Parisian style. My wife loved it. And she loved the Parisian themed walkway with shops and cobbled street as we made our way to the check-in desk. The desk was not overly busy and staff were helpful and efficient. We didn't specify any particular room other than non-smoking. We weren't concerned about a view as we weren't spending much time in there. So we got a 6th floor room overlooking the back of the hotel and some rooves. No big deal as the room was tastefully decorated, was comfortable and felt luxurious. It had just been cleaned as we arrived (we actually checked in a bit earlier than the normal 4pm) without any problems. We also asked for a later 12pm checkout which was also no problem for staff.
The hotel is centrally located on the Strip so is an excellent base to experience Las Vegas. We didn't spend much time in the casino as there was so much other stuff to see and do. We took in the Blue man Group show at the Venetian - a must see, and did two separate half day trips to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon respectively and Fremont St. You will walk a lot so have good walking shoes! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
