What can I say other than Las Vegas Baby! My first trip to Sin City and loved it! Don't think I spent more than 5 hours a day in my hotel room (Tropicana) as we were always roaming the strip hopping from hotel to hotel hitting up all the different casinos, shows and bars. Always great to be able to walk around with a beer in your hand... The strip is very long, alot bigger than it looks on a map... you can't walk it unless you really want to tire yourself out, especially in the heat. The Deuce Bus is a good option, $2.50 price, or you can take the monorails which rides behind the hotels and is alot quicker. Can't wait to go back to Vegas!

This is Vegas baby! The Strip is the essence of the whole experience. Bright lights, loud, beautiful, ugly, awe-inspiring, entertaing and fun. My only advice, wear shoes you can walk in until you wear out-- and not because your feet are killing you.

Was very fun! I stayed at the Excalibur which was a little cheesy with all the disney like castle and medevial themed decor and costumes, but it was fun and unique. The hotel's castle exterior was nice. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The Casino was ok. The NY NY and MGM, which are near by, are better. Walking the strip was great! There are plenty of free things to see. The fountain show at the Belagio was excellent and a must see! The pirate show at Treasure Island hotel was ok. There is also the lions at the MGM to see. Paris hotel is really pretty and is fun to shop in. The recreation of paris inside is really cute. Bring bottled drinks if you want to save money because if your not gambiling, drinks are expensive , and it is hard to find water fountains. Don't forget to bring tennis shoes if you plan to walkk the strip.

I gave the Las Vegas Strip a rating of excellence only because of the amount of entertainment and fun that is to be had on the strip. I mean all the major headliners are there on the Strip on any given visit to the Strip.

I personally think the Strip is very pretty at night with all the lights and there is so much to do on the Strip that it would take a very extended stay or multiple visits to truly take in everything that there is to do entertainment and shows wise.

The strip in most places along the stretch is very dirty and filthy. Now don't get me wrong I have been to Vegas numerous times to know that the Strip is a very very busy place with people coming from all over the world to visit. Projections are that the Strip gets some 30 million visitors a year.

With that many people coming and spending $$$ you would think that the city could hire a full-time staff to keep the strip decently clean.

Otherthan the cleanliness of many areas of the strip its truly the entertainment capital of the world. I mean I live in Arizona and we have tons of casinos to choose from but there is no place like Vegas baby. Laughlin is only 3.5 hours away but we still prefer Vegas simply because of the atmosphere, food, entertainment and shows there is nothing like it.

Vegas is getting kinda pricey these days and it seems there is taxes and surcharges for every little thing out there almost like nit picking but if you do your homework you can have a blast in Vegas on the cheap and have tons of fun.

I wouldn't recommend bringing young kids to Vegas as its still very adult oriented despite their efforts to make it family friendly. You have drunks, smoke filled casino's, nudity all over the ground from magazines and small business cards.

If you want to spend time with the family and children go to Disneyland. If you want to have fun with the adults go to Vegas. If you have to bring the kids then stay at Circus Circus Hotel as they are truly the only family oriented hotel on the strip.

There is sooooooooo much to look at on the strip. Tons of casinos to walk in and out of. Shopping galore, and food places all over. Yeah sure there are the "slappers" but just ignore them and they won't bother you. Walk it at night to see all the lights and glitz
