If you don't mind being 15 min. off the Strip, this place, tucked away in northwest Las Vegas, is wonderful, makes you feel like you're not even in Las Vegas!

Stayed with softball team. When I heard "Marriott", I expected a very basic hotel. "JW Marriott" must be the upscale tier of Marriott properties. As we drove in, the 2 towers looked lovely & fancy.

Free valet parking for guests! (excluding valet tip). I recommend this because the hotel grounds are huge & regular guest parking is a bit of a walk from the lobby.

Our room had 2 queens & was very spacious. Nice-sized walk-in closet. Best thing: the bathroom! Granite vanity with 2 sinks, big spa tub, separate shower & separate toilet. Plenty of room for 2 or more to get ready in. Brightly lit.

One bad thing about the room: Instead of having a small fridge, they have what they call a tiny "cooler", which is not cold; you can't store food in it overnight. I hope this isn't a trend ... sports teams need a cold fridge!

Beds were amazingly comfy. Plenty of comfy pillows. Free wireless Internet.

Inside, between the 2 towers, were several restaurants, Starbucks, casino, gym, spa. There's 1 24-hour cafe. Food is decent, but service is very slow. Restaurants are Italian, Japanese, Mexican, etc. Japanese one was unimpressive & over-priced. Gym & spa charge expensive fee per use.

Staff was friendly & helpful. One bad thing: there are people at the front desk in the main (Spa) tower, but not in the 2nd tower. You can't go to anyone to ask for help, you have to call the main tower.

Our team rate was $129 per night. I would definitely stay again! It felt like a luxury hotel. You felt like you were away!

we spent 4 days at the jw marriott in las vegas. the hotel room was really great, big, and the bathroom was all you would want and more. we did make what i consider a find as far as a place to eat. there is an irish pubb at the jw named wooloughan's that has wonderful comfort food at reasonable prices. we had a waitress named dorie who made us feel so much at home that we came back again and again. we were given an extended balcony room, which i would recommend. i think most rooms did not have a balcony, but french doors that opened to a railing. the pool was nice, but i did hear someone ask another person where she lived, and she said right down the road and would be back with her kids the next day. i guess locals can come and use pool when ever they want. other than that, would recommend hotel.

Being one of the best cities in the US, i especially chose to stay in the best hotel !!
It was a marvelous experience, a breath taking one.
The rooms were spacious and well lit.
the room overlooked the city and by night it looked gorgeous.
the staff was always smiling and this made my stay even more memorable.

Huge rooms, big shower, whirlpool tub, quiet location, excellent service. I liked being away from the Strip, but still not too far from the airport. All staff members were friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Great restaurants on site; lots of choices. Highly satisfied.

The hotel is beautiful! All of the staff was extremely helpful when we arrived. Upon check in we found out that we had been upgraded to a jr suite. What a surprise. The room was spotless with a nice view of the courtyard. My only complaint was at the pool. The pool itself is very nice, but there seemed to be a lot of people there that weren't actually guests at the hotel. You could tell by the large backpacks they brought in with clothes and their own beer supply. Other than that our stay was wonderful.
