My husband attended a business conference at this hotel and we (the rest of the family) tagged along for fun. This was our lst trip to Las Vegas (husband has been many times for various conferences and stayed in several other LV properties). The JW Marriott was a perfect way to experience Las Vegas without having to stay in the midst of all the crowds and noise at the strip.

The rooms were huge and the whirlpool bathtub was perfect for soaking in after a very hot day walking on the strip. The pool and hotel grounds are beautiful - it's obvious they spend alot of time and money making it not look like it's in the middle of the desert! The gorgeous grounds and pool helped me forget that it was about 110 degrees most of the time we were there as well!

If I ever go to Las Vegas (and have to spend my own money on a hotel which I didn't do in this case), I'd stay here again!

The photos do not do this property justice (spotless inside and out). Great service from check-in to check-out. We had a suite facing the golf course/mountains and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Amazing bathrooms as others have said.

If you have seen and done the strip (as we have) treat yourself to a cabana by their excellent pool. We loved having a retreat from the summer sun and stayed poolside all day long. They even show movies at the pool on summer sat. evenings.

WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We have been to Vegas a few times now and we always stay on the Strip at MGM, Planet Hollywood... but I had once read very nice reviews about this property and I was very curious. This hotel had amazing rooms. First of all the rooms are enormous for hotel rooms, especially when you compare it to the regular rooms at any hotel on the strip. They had amazing bathrooms with his and hers sinks, very nice Jacuzzi tub for two (plenty of space; I must add that my husband and I are tall people) separate stand up shower, and the toilet was in a separate place with a door, very nice. The property had very pretty ground, the valet parking was for free and the crew was really nice and fast, very worth the tip :-) They have a few restaurants in the hotel but we had tried only Ceres for breakfast one morning and the brunch was really nice, must try the waffles, they were wonderful, and I normally don't eat waffles.
The hotel service was good, and they also have the Rampart Casino connected to the property for all those late night gamblers, $5 blackjack at the Rampart casino.
The grounds were beautiful but we never got to use the pool since the weather did not cooperate for us that week-end ;-(
The drive the to strip was only 12 minutes so it was very convenient.
The only thing I was not really impressed with was the Spa. It seems that it was only one person doing all the treatments that day, she was nice but nothing spectacular. If you want to use the spa facilities ( which included the fitness area) a they charge you a $25 fee per day ( free day pass to the facilities, if you do a spa service that same day). I would not recommend to pay $25 because it was worth it. I think the hotel should give free access to these facilities anyways.
Overall it was an amazing hotel if you want to still enjoy the casinos and dining on the strip but prefer to relax at night and be away from all the noise and rumble.

“Beautiful Hotel with Fantastic Scenery of Red Rock Canyon”

JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort, Spa & Golf

We arrived at the JW Marriott after a long drive from Scottsdale, Arizona. Our room wasn't ready however the receptionist offered us another room that was. She said the room she had held for us and that was not quite ready had a wonderful view of Red Rock Canyon and was a very nice room so we decided to wait. When it was ready the receptionist told us and sent chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room to apologise for the wait !! that was a very nice thing to do indeed.
The hotel is simply beautiful and the pools are tranquil and relaxing with comfortable padded chairs.
I booked the JW Marriot as it wasn't on the strip although only a seven mile drive to the strip where, if you wanted, you could have dinner. They do have some very good restaurants at the JW so if you don't want to go out there is no need.
The best part of our two day stay was our drive up Red Rock Canyon which was absolutely wonderful, the way the desert has created this canyon along with the colours is quite a miracle. I think I read earlier that somebody didn't like the shop at Red Rock Canyon - why ? it was a super shop and I bought myself a solid silver bracelet with opals for a bargain price !
JW Marriott have done it once again, another wonderful resort in another splendid place.
