My wife and I stayed for a short time, next to people who had a drinking problem. There was fighting and argueing nightly. When we went to the office to complain we was told we had to leave because we caused problems. The lady that lived next to us who was being abused by her husband was kicked out of the park the same day. Sams Town is on the TV show COPS, when we saw it on TV, we should have realized the enviorment and stayed elsewhere.

Not really stayed anywhere else in Vegas for the 1st time RVer it suited us perfectly.

No probs on checking in, easy to park up and find place, has bins and all usual utilities. Casino right next to it that has buses leaving to the strip more or less every 30 minutes and different buses to different parts of the strip. Asda (Wallmart) just opposite it :)

If you an RV traveller and fresh into it looking for a cheap and good place to stay to see Vegas, this is your place!!!

“RV park OK /Casino stinks”

The RV Park has all you need to be comfortable, pet unfriendly even tho you can have with you. The Buffet was terrible and loaded with locals who looked like they just came in from a construction site...The casino is boring , the machines leave alot to be desired. Stay at the park and head to the strip if you want to gamble.....

Stayed with family and friends 3/25/07 - 3/27/07 at Sam's Town. This hotel was nicer than I had anticipated. (Stayed at South Point first 3 nights and moved here for last 2 nights.) Rooms were average size, rooms were clean and they offered connecting rooms. Rec'd extra towels and pillows on request. There was a neat light/water show in the atrium that my children enjoyed. Night shows were best because of the light and the moving animals.
There were lots of eating options: McD's, Panda, Sbarro, Subway, Firelight Buffet - which was better than South Points' Buffet, Great steak house. The 24 hour restaurant had a little brkfst buffet that was gross, but meals ordered came out good. (I've been a restaurant Mgr for over 20 yrs and could tell the food quality was just so so.)
Kids bowled everyday, swam in the heated pool - only ones there, went to the theatre and enjoyed the ice cream parlor. The arcade needs working on. Half the games were broken.
Table games had higher minimums than South Point and not many were being used, BINGO was just ok, slots were hot - almost paid for my whole trip! There were a lot of college age kids in the bar/dance club. Lots of ladies of the night cruising that area = security was really on it escorting lots of these ladies out.
Location not bad. 10 minutes from strip. New Walmart directly across the street for fresh fruit and goodies for the family. Took approx. 10 minutes to get to airport. No traffic around except for our trips to the strip. Definitely need a car to get around.
Front Desk Manager - Kathy even printed out our boarding passes for us the night before we departed! Outstanding service. Bellmen were fast both times, Security came to my aid when a furniture nail cut my heel and patched me up and removed the offending sofa chair in one of our rooms. Other than the nail incident our stay was as good as they get. Price was only $49 a night and I consider that a pretty good deal for what we got. I would stay there again.
