Well we were a little worried after reading so many bad reviews.. but we decided to ask for the North tower. Arriving we went to the hotel to check in.. the desk wasnt too busy a few in line... that was ok.. The woman who checked us in was very nice... we laughed and joked very fast service . Went up to our room , it was huge very clean, we had a view of mountains and strip from cesars to Hilton.. what a beautiful view.. even got to see a rainbow one nite.. The housekeeper was very nice. We saw security every morning around the same time as we came out of our room... we were there for 5 days. Never met any rude people working there... Our room was on the 25th floor, very comfortable it was our first time staying there... tried sidewalk cafe food was excellen, and the buffet for breakfast very good... so I dont know what people are talking about...our experience was great and we would definitely stay there again..

I had a confrence to attend at Bally's/Paris casino's. We got a special rate of $100 a night.

Bally's as a casino itself is not that great and a little small (and outdated) but the Hotel in the North Tower is great!

We got a HUGE room with 2 x king size beds with a view overlooking the Flamingo.

I was very happy with the service at Ballys and the deals that they have.
We recieved a 2 for 1 coupon to see The Producers at Paris Hotel & Casino. (side note:- The theatre for the Producers has a great view from anywhere! We had the cheapest seats in the back row and we saw everything and felt so close to the stage).

The only thing i really didn't like at Bally's was their Buffett.........it made my girlfriend a bit ill and i really didn't want to eat any of the food.

Apart from that......................i REALLY enjoyed my stay at Bally's.

Celebrated my 50th Birthday in the city that never sleeps! After considering the ratings/reviews here at TripAdvisor we decided to stay at Ballys Las Vegas, which is now Ballys/Paris. Hotel is beautiful, the rooms in the North Tower are VERY spacious, great beds, clean. Service was great, all employees smiling and helpful. Oh my goodness! Definitely eat breakfast at their Big Kitchen buffet! The best buffet selections and food is delicious! We had breakfast there one day & brunch another ~ both offered lots of great selections. There's also a deli-type cafe and coffee counter open all night. We arrived late Friday & had sandwiches from the deli (tuna and turkey). Both were decent. We didn't win any money in Ballys' casino ~ but hey! we didn't win in the other casinos either!! lol All in all a great choice. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Bally's for a conference so it was not my personal selection. I had never been to Bally's in Las Vegas but my stay at Bally's in Atlantic City was fairly good so I was somewhat optimistic. That optimism turned out to be entirely misplaced. Fortunately we checked in at the airport so avoided the madness that was the check in in the hotel lobby. The lobby clearly has not been touched since the late 1980s and has low ceilings which give it a cramped, dark feeling. Upon arriving in my room I was even more disappointed. The hallways on the guest room floors were dank and poorly lit. The room was incredibly dated and looked it was in dire need of a deep steam cleaning. You could hear the sound of the TV in the next room coming through the connecting door which was sealed. I attempted to use the hi-speed internet connection via Ethernet cord but could not get it to work. I had to call the help desk on 2 separate occasions to get connected. This was emblematic of the service in the hotel-- there was no assistance with minor problems or queries, you were essentially on your own.

Trying to get anywhere in the hotel required a massive trek. From my room to the pool took almost 10 minutes of walking through the casino floor and then a tired, tacky shopping arcade. The pool area was very plain and had no ambiance. The food at the hotel was of decent quality, however. The Big Kitchen Buffet had a wide variety of items and our banquet food was actually quite good.

Asides from the good location in the center of the strip, Bally's has no redeeming features.

“sleepless in vegas!”

Bally's Las Vegas

when you r in vegas, expect not to sleep as there r too many things to keep you awake and having fun. however this rule applies in Bally's in a different way. bed bugs, human hair and belongings of the last guest r what may keep you all night with open eyes. staff r a kind of careless. housekeeping is disastrous. Dusty carpets and furniture. towels full of multi coloured stains leaving you with 100 thoughts!
we lost almost 4 hours changing rooms with almost same problems at the end.

location is ok. i have stayed in the excalibur before and it was much better in 2002, compared to Bally's.

nothing special about the hotel, no theme, no vast choice of shops and average breakfast..

spend more money and stay in a better hotel.
