I booked this hotel through a package deal with one of the Airlines. I was a little nervous after reviewing some of the feedback on the hotel. However, I could not turn down the excellent price offered if staying at Bally's. I requested the North Tower as this site recommended. I found the room to be very nice. The bed was comfortable with feather pillows - a must for me. The furniture was nice. The bathroom was very nice. The room was very spacious. The only drawback - the air conditioner didn't make the room as cool as I would have liked. I would recommend this hotel. You can't beat the location.

“Nice hotel, rude employees”

Bally's Las Vegas

My first time at Bally's and the place looks lovely. I had the perfect view of the Eifel Tower, and the amenites were acceptable. However, the employees were rude when there was a problem that needed to be addressed that included an error of an employee. Instread of helping me, they played dumb and they ignored me. The manager never came to help, AND they hung up on me in my room. I was overcharged and wasnt even allowed to complete my stay. Lovely place..... very lovely. But I will not be staying there ever again.

Stayed in the North Tower, room was large and clean. Had a problem with the internet service the 1st morning technician was up within 15 minutes and had it fixed shortly thereafter. Had a light out in the bathroom again the maintenance person was there within 15 minutes and had it fixed. Staff was friendly. 1st time staying at Bally's and you can't beat the location.

Only complaint is that the Casino was smokey but you are so close to so many other hotels it was easy to find a less smokey environment.

Dealers were friendly but the best fun gambling was had at Planet Hollywood next door. Visit the passion pit after 9 and you will have a great time.

We recently stayed for 3 nights. We booked the North Tower as we were aware that the South Tower contained rooms that had not been renovated. The rooms were great. They were large and clean. The beds were not horrible but the pilllows left me with a stiff neck every day.

Beware!!! If you use the safe, they charge you $3.00 a day...can you imagine that...not even in Italy, where they try to charge you for the air you breathe, do they charge for using the safe. You would think that they would want your belongings safe in the room.

The Indigo lounge, one of our favorite late night spots has a new band...way too loud and no longer to our liking...we loved the great group that used to perform regularly and miss them. We also miss the Ballys breakfast buffet that enabled you to have choices but not overwhelmingly huge.

We had reservations for the "Sterling Brunch" at Ballys and although a bit pricey at $75. a person, it was elegant and the food was delicious. The Del Coronado Hotel in San Diego boasts the best brunch in California and it could learn a lot from this amazing brunch at Ballys. You will not be disappointed...even the unlimited champaigne is wonderful.

I have read numerous comments about the casino and the smoke issue. Compared to other casinos, the smoke seems much worse at Ballys...maybe the air is not filtered as well...but our eyes did seem to burn whenever we stayed for a while in the casino, a problem that did not happen anywhere else.

The pool area is about as blah as one could imagine. The music is loud, the drinks expensive and yes, it is true that there are always enough chairs, I think because there is nothing to keep you by the pool. It is hot, no misters or shade...and it is simply a concete yard with an inground pool...nothing special in any way.

Also, while gambling, the drink girls are few and far between...if you order a drink, chances are, you will have lost all your money before they return with your drink...a little annoying.

All in all Ballys is OK...but nothing more. I usually stay at Paris but they did not allow for Saturday check in and 2 people in our group were joining us on Saturday morning...so we opted to stay where we all could be together...

I would not stay at Ballys again...maybe if they brought back the old lounge group, opened their breakfast buffet, stopped charging to use the safe and filtered their air...not to mention that a little atmosphere at the pool would be greatly appreciated...

I think Ballys needs to upgrade itself...come into the modern era. Renovate the South Tower, clean up the casino air, put good louge music back, and make the hotel a place you want to stay, spend and enjoy yourself in.

First trip to Vegas and I wasn't disappointed in my hotel pick! After researching this hotel, I was a little scared of the choice I had made. We arrived at the vegas airport at 7:45pm. We received our luggage, took a taxi and were checked-in and in the room in under an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Asked for a room in the North Tower as per everyone's reviews on here. Received it with no problem and was very satified. Huge room with comfy beds and pillows, coffee maker, hairdryer, beautiful bathroom (no tiles missing or chipped or cracked), good water pressure, quiet cool A/C and nice views. Maid service was excellant, we came in a crashed for a few hours each time at all different hours of the days and put the do not disturb sign on the door and they respected that and then we would take it off when we left and every day we came back no matter what time it was the room was cleaned!! Really enjoyed the Sidewalk Cafe, open 24 hrs and great staff. Also enjoyed being able to walk over to Paris directly. Awesome, awesome central location!! Didn't take the Duece or monorail, just walked everywhere we needed and it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be back to Bally's!!
