If you're looking for a decent room in vegas, Suncoast is a good bet. The room was VERY spacious, and the bathroom very nice. The room was clean, the bedding was decent. The mattresses aren't bad, but not top notch either, a touch hard for our liking. The casino was so smokey, I couldn't deal with it, so I did no gambling at all. The buffet dinner was just OK, not really worth $13. I only paid $37 (including resort fee of $5), so it was definately a good value. You will need a car if you stay here.

I stayed her while coordinating a class in one of the hotel's meeting rooms. As the meeting planner, I was upgraded to a wonderful room on the 10th floor. It had a bar, living room, dining area, large separate bedroom and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a huge shower. The bed was very comfortable. The meeting facility is very well run, and worth consideration if you have an event.

While there is a large selection of restaurants in the casino, I only patronized two: The Cafe Sienna served up a decent, inexpensive early bird breakfast special. The Bagel Cafe Express has pretty good sandwiches, although they seemed a bit pricey. Otherwise, I preferred to get out and eat somewhere else. Across the street are a Cheesecake Factory and a Gordon Biersch Brewpub that are both great places to eat.

Two of the reviews listed when we booked were very critical about everything -- the food, the casino, trash in hallways, hard beds, etc. I was hesitant to make a reservation but the price was such a bargain and we were only going to be there there for two days. I'm so glad I did! We thought everything was superb. Our standard room was beautiful, and the bathroom was to die for. Two sinks, a separate tub/toilet room with a phone, no less. We had coffee in the morning, a newspaper at our door, a safe for our valuables and all for a special price of $30 per night (Mon and Tues). It was easily a $125 - $150 per night room. Very clean and fresh smelling. The beds were firm and the pillows were foam, but we happened to like that. We have eaten at the Casino Buffets all over town (we spend the winter here) and we think Sun Coast's is the best of the lot. We hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did ours. We will definitely return soon.

booked 2 king rooms week before we went....(had already booked trip with flights before) just needed a one night stay somewhere......
rooms large,getting a little old but very clean,breakfast buffet very good value at $6.95 each,coffee,tea,fruit juices etc included...
bowling alleys good fun
good for a one night stay,little too far out from the strip
but for only $20 per room,(and resort fare of $5)..very good value
