A little less known fact about the 'Sin city' is Chinatown. Just 5 minutes away from 'The Strip' is a place where you can find good food for a good price. It is a place where you can deviate from 'The Strip' experience.

It is also a good place for a family to enjoy Asian delights without breaking the piggy bank. Let's face it, eating on the strip is an expensive venture.

I think it should be called 'Far East' instead of Chinatown. The area/mall contains restaurants of all Asian countries; Cantonese, Szcheun, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc...

It is located on Spring Mountain Rd, off highway 15. You can also get their by making a left hand turn after Tropician Blvd from Las Vegas Blvd or a short taxi ride.

Enjoy the experience and good eating to all.

Being from snow country, everything about my trip to Las Vegas was very heart warming. Seeing everything at your stores was a trip to the orient in itself. One of the shop was remember had everything from little Buda statues, music boxes, clothing, and what made my feet feel like I was barefoot. The black fabric shoes were one of the special treats I found and would like to know if these inexpencieve shoes could be ordered on-line. I also have others who would be interested in a catalog if one is available. Please help our sore feet in NY and let me know if this is possible! Thank-You.

My family is asian/american with 2 children. We went to check out the food choices and browse the many shops there. We had a great time and some great dim-sum. Some of the items for sale in the stores are cheap imports, but others are excellent. Be sure to try the tapioca drinks!
