Lovely hotel, Clean and comfortable rooms and a very nice atmoshere through out the hotel.
Good choice of restaraunts and shop within the hotel.
The only draw back is it is right down the end of the stip with not much around at the moment but with the Duece Buses $3 one wayor $5 all day passesit is cheap and easy to get around with out loads of walking.

The hotel was a great base from which to explore the world famous Las Vegas strip. The hotel is located at the top of the strip meaning be prepared to walk or take the convienent bus which travels up and down the strip. The tower is awesome and provides spectecular views of the city both during the day and at night. The rides at the top are not for the faint hearted and thats why i gave them a miss. The hotel has many shops and restaurants located within it as well as a heated jacuzzi, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. The value of the hotel was amazing considering the price we paid. Overall i would definietly recomend this hotel.

I stayed here for two nights while only planning on a one night stay. The first night I satyed on the second floor and had a view of the A/C unit outside. The second night I stayed on the 8th floor and had a good view of the north end of town. I had to park in oversize parking and it's a long walk to check in and then to room elevator. I didn't have a reservation, but had done my homework on line before hand. I told the desk clerk the rate I had found on line and he didn't even blink an eye when he gave me that rate. Rooms were nice, the price was right ($31) and I got a good nights sleep. I know there are nicer hotels on the strip, but since I didn't spend much time in mine I wasn't worried about spending the big bucks. The best value in Vegas is the doubledecker buses. 24 hour pass for $5, although buses get very crowded the closer to the strip you get. One bad experience in the buffet resturant. I seated myself since I couldn't find the hostess. Then a waiteress came up to me and told me my table was reserved for 6 not 1. There was no one else in the place. I told her I would be nice and not dirty up the other five settings at the table.

I have to say that that Stratosphere has OUTSTANDING customer service! My boyfriend and I went to las vegas from 11/20/08 to 11/24/08 we were booked into another hotel on the strip We had an awful and bad experince with the other hotel the way we were treated from the time of check in. After thinking through the situation we decided to go to stratosphere directly and ask about availability for our other 3 nights of our vacation. We explained what our experince was at our other hotel to the check in person She totally went out her way to make us happy she reserved a Suite for us and even called our hotel about the refund policy. When we checked in the next day we again had great customer service at the check in counter our check in person was great very helpful and curtious he even said that our reservation had an e mail message from the girl who booked our reservation. We went to our suite and were very happy it was clean and just what we wanted from the begining a strip view in a high floor i noticed that the A/C was not working I went back downstairs and told our check in person about it he called engineering and by the time my boyfriend and I came back from dinner it was fixed. We had a great time at Stratosphere we will return again!

My wife called into a radio station about a" free Vegas vacation" .She thought she won something but I think everyone wins.We were going to visit friends in Lake Havasu soooooo why not spend a few free nights in Vegas. We checked into the Stratosphere at the special Tahiti Village desk. Check in was a breeze. We upgraded to a Premier Tower room, it had a jakuzi and a great view of the strip. Only $20. , couldn't beat it . We set up our time share tour for the next morning and received our FREE tickets for American Superstars, FREE buffet and FREE tower passes. We had good seats for the show, had a GREAT friday seafood buffet ( $20. value ) and viewed the tower during a full moon. Got some really good pictures. The tour was very interesting and not hi pessure at all, just not for us. The room was fine, bathroom was well stocked and everything was clean. Problems.............. the walls are paper thin and the people next door were getting frisky..... REAL LOUD type frisky and there was no coffee pot in the room, I NEED my coffee when I get up !!!! We called down and asked about one and were told that "they don't do that anymore, they bought the Starbucks downstairs " Overall it was a GREAT FREE vacation.Clean, cheap room, good food and I won some $$$ at the craps table .We had a car so we were not stuck in that area, which gets a little ruff at night.GREAT DEAL
