Stayed one night and got a terriffic rate on Priceline ($55). The hotel lobby was terriffic with beautiful fresh flowers and candles burning. The place is non-smoking (except the casino) and the rooms are well appointed. Rooms remind me of the "W" but slightly less posh. Colors are great, bed is excellent. Hotel location is ideal and parking was easy. I would stay here again and the place is a bargain.

We spent the night at the Westin and it was great. It is 2 blocks from the strip which is nice not having to deal with the strip traffic but just a short walk to Bally's or Bill's. If you are looking for a big casino then go to the strip as there are not many slot or tables but on the flip side this is the only casino where you can't smoke and as we are non-smokers it was great not to smell like an ashtray like at other casinos. The heavenly bed and bath lived up to its name no problems there. Only problem we had was the long wait at the elevators a repairman told me they were working on them but other than that no problems and we would stay again as the casino was quiet and no screaming children running around all over the place like you see at Excalibur and Circus Circus.

We go to Vegas every six months. I have to push my wife to go some times because she does not like all crouds in the major hotels. We usually stay at the Vanician but the gambling at all the majors is tight and impersonal. Not at the Wesin. My wife and I met a couple of friends that came from CO. We were able to catch up, gamble and have some drinks at the bar. When we wanted to cut loose a bit more the main strip was a block a way and we walked (stumbled) around. They had on site rental cars, which was great because we wanted to go golfing. THe lobby was great and the rooms were nice. The Wesin could do a bit more in the rooms but the bed was comfortable (new). THe staff was great. I feel for poor Jason at the bar who had to deal with my wife and her friend.

Will never stay on the srip again

We booked this hotel thru Priceline and got an excellent rate. Would definitely stay here again. The "heavenly beds" are quite comfortable and the "heavenly bathroom" was great as well with its dual shower heads. The customer service is excellent. We asked for more bottles of water and extra coffee and it was brought up promptly and abundantly. We never heard any of our neighbors. It was very quiet. During our 2 night stay, we always found a parking space in the lot just outside the entrance. It's a smaller hotel so the walk even from the parking garage is close. Check-in was fast and no waiting. I liked that it was not a casino hotel. Even though it's not directly on the strip, it is quite close to the back of Bally's and is a good location being in the mid-strip area. You can easily walk north or south on LV Blvd to all the major casinos and hotels. The workout room is pretty well equipped and is free. Plenty of bottled water and apples there. And it is a very short walk to Ellis Island where we had unadvertised $4.95 steak dinner, which was excellent! If I book thru Priceline again, I hope it would be the Westin.

Let me first say that I am a Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum member which means I have stayed at a lot of Starwood properties including Westin hotels. The Westin Casuarina was quite a disappointment. We found the room and amenities to be pretty standard Westin but the service was definitely below par. Requests often took 1 hour or more to respond to. Calls to the service express line took over 20 rings before they would pick up. They had an elevator bank that had 6 elevators but only 2 were functional for our entire stay. Thus we often spent 10-15 minutes waiting for an elevator. Here is an example of the poor service we received. One night we came back to our room after an exhausting day of walking the strip to find that our room had not been cleaned. A call to housekeeping not only did not yield an apology for the mistake but an accusation that it was my fault that housekeeping did not come to our room. A follow up call to the manager resulted in a slightly more apologetic tone but no offer to make it up to us. It was only through demonstrating how annoyed I was that resulted in a timely visit from housekeeping to rectify the problem. Would I go back to the Westin? Only if it’s free.
