Location is a short walk from the strip, great if you want to be close but away from the noise. Carpet in the room was a little sketchy, but the rest was very clean. In true Westin style the beds are incredible as was the bathroom.
Service was decent. We had issues with our heating system that took several hours to fix, when in reality all it took was 5 mins. Pool was small but nice. The spa looked great, but I ran out of time to try it out.

I was not sure what to expect after reading all the reviews, so I went in with an open mind. I go to Vegas every years so I have stayed everywhere on the strip so not staying in a strip hotel was not a big deal for me.
1) Location- Located along side of Ballys you can walk to 2 blocks to the middle of the strip. I would however take a taxi late at night which cost about $6. It cost about $12 from the south and north end of the strip so it was not that bad.

2) Customer Service- Excellent everyone was nice and friendly they had a spa on the 2nd floor that was wonderful, the restaurant that offered a good variety of food on their breakfast buffet, and the Starbucks in the lobby was a great place to grab early morning coffee. Every night except Saturday night they offer a 2 hour happy hour, in the restaurant which allows you to enjoy free beer and wine, along with small appetizers. There also lower the table limits to $.25 which is nice if you have been losing. Bar are stays open all night and they serve food all night from a small menu which is good when you get the late night munchies. There is a nice gym for those that want to work out.

3) Casino-Small but you felt very safe and secure late at night. They had several slot machines and they also offered table games as well. It was an excellent place to learn several games if you wanted to. I took the liberty to learn craps.

4) Room- Small but not shabby by no means. Yes it does appear to be small because of the amount of furniture in the room, and there is no flat screen TV in the room but you do have a large TV and all the channels and Pay for View offers that you get in other hotels. Bathroom is not large, but not small by no means. They offer the dual shower heads that are wonderful, coffee maker with Starbuck Coffee, hairdryer, and iron and iron board.
But I can not say enough about the bed! OMG I had the most rest and relaxation I ever had during a trip to Los Vegas. It was a quite hotel the spa was wonderful but the real gem was the heavenly bed. I can’t wait to visit another westn so I can sleep in that bed again.

If you get a good deal on price line like I did ($99) you can’t beat it. If you can live with out staying on the strip and being away from the noise and hustle and bustle than this is the place for you. Please be aware that you will be charged a $15 a night service fee regardless who you book this room through. I feel that is a bit steep, considering that you have to pay for internet connections. If you are not aware of ithe $15 a night charge you will be very shocked once you check out

The bottom line of this review: I'd only stay here if you get a great deal on the room. Overall it wasn't terrible, I was just disappointed by what was supposed to be a four star hotel. Our room was comfortable on the whole, the staff was nice, and I thought it was convenient to the strip (but my husband and I also like to walk). This is about where the praise ends, however. We like many others booked on Priceline and were smacked with a $15/night fee upon check in - for what, you ask? Things like them printing out your boarding pass before you leave for the airport and having coffee in your room. Of course internet is not included in the fee and is an extra $20-or-so a night... Nice, Westin.

The cleanliness of the hotel was another area where I was majorly disappointed. There were shoeprints in the bathtub after the maids had "cleaned" our room. There were also long black hairs on all of our towels and in the bed. Additionally, my husband and I had fun tracking a giant ball of human hair in the hallway all weekend that was never picked up.

We just chalked it up to "we're in Vegas, we're not going to be in our hotel room anyway," but I was disappointed by the Westin.

I booked 2 room at this place with priceline. The hotel was ok for our purpose that weekend. Nice thing I notice is that they charge $15 or more each night per room for resort fee. I complaint but that won't credit me back the fees. Since I have 2 rooms for two night, I end up paying almost $80 in resort fee. I called the hotel asked why they charge the resort fee and they sent me a screen of the resort on priceline regular rate. I told them that I book it thru the priceline bid process and during the whole process it didn't mention any resort fee. I called priceline, and they told me that the hotel shouldn't charge me a resort fee and to take the claims with the hotel because they can't do nothing about it. I haven't heard anything back from the hotel. DON'T BOOK HOTEL, IT GOT A HIDDEN CHARGE THAT EVEN IF THEY ARE WRONG, THEY WON'T CREDIT YOU BACK and if they do, they won't admit it as I heard that some people did get the fee credit back. THIS PLACE IS A RIPPED OFF.
