Check in speed and courtesy was excellent. Room had worn, stained carpeting and a very worn bedspread but otherwise was very clean. Lack of in-room safe was disappointing. High speed internet cord won't reach beyond nightstand, making it akward to use my laptop. Room service speed was excellent. Bathroom was spotless. Overall good value, but the carpet and bedding could use a little attention.

We stayed at the Harrah's from June 11 to June 16 and we were very pleased. We requested a room with a safe at check-in and we were given a room on the 14th floor in the Carnaval tower and it looked fresly renovated. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless clean. Overall the hotel and casino is fine, there are better one in Vegas but the price and location can't be beat. We ate at Toby Keith's restaurant but we were disappointed, try Margaritaville at the Flamingo, it was perfect!
Will go back to this Hotel our next time in Vegas

Arrived on Sunday, June 25th and departed on the 28th. Our rooms and a $ 50.00 credit at the new Italian restaurant " Penazz's" was comped through their "Rewards" program. The room was good as well as the dining, recommend to all to try it. The staff was friendly and courteous, especially the check-in person, who greatly aided us with a problem. The housekeeping was good as they didn't bother you if you wanted privacy. They just left a phone message to call if anything was needed. Appreciated that! Didn't use the pool, so no comment. The location is great as it is located in the center of the strip. " The Carnaval Court" was always jumping. A bartender contest was taking place, always go see these guys when I'm there. The " Dueling Pianos" is also a must see. Seems all visitors that were there were having a good time. Didn't win much at the slots but had a great time anyway. Harrah's also has an excellent " Customer Service" email service if needed. All in all. I would recommend this hotel/casino for booking a stay at. Already thinking of our next trip there.

Girl at the front desk was really accomodating and friendly. I requested for a room at the carnaval tower and she gave us a room at the 24th floor with a double sized bed and in a non smoking floor just as requested. Room and bathroom were clean and well kept. I am very particular about sanitation and cleanliness and I really had no problems during my stay from May 9-12 . Although the bed was not that comfortable since I could feel some ofthe coil springs. Just like what the others have written the casino was very smoky . Would probably come back but if I have more money to spend I would try the fancier hotels.

Flew into Vegas Non stop from NH on SWA @ 0950. Retrieved baggage and went directly to hotel thinking too early for Check-in. Arrived at hotel by 1030am and went to Front desk to see about a room. Very nice Host named Lynn tried to find my Reservation but could not. I had booked thru Orbitz at the rate of $63 per night. Luckily i had taken toll-free Orbitz number and Res number . I called orbitz and after few minutes hold time i connected to the customer assistance. She was extremely helpful and called hotel and within few minutes my reservation was put in system. I recommend as does Harrahs if you book thru outside agency call a few days ahead to make sure your reservation has been put in system.
After this I went back to Lynn at front desk and she pulled up my reservation. I asked for an upgrade and she stated she had a few Suites available for $75 /nt ,But being on a Saturday, she would have to check with mgr. Came back and said that I could not upgrade today , but come back on Sunday at 9am when she gets there and she will do it then.
SO , she gave me a room on Sat in the carnaval tower. Very nice with inroom safe. Very clean. I stayed here 2 months ago and had room in Mardi Gras tower and the difference in rooms was amazing. Newer rooms in Carnaval tower, better view also. Went downstairs Sunday to go se Lynn ,BUT Checkin/Out line was EXTREMELYlong (Sun busiest day)and I decided my room was nice enough.
Slots were tight as usual but still had fun. Played poker tourney at Harrahs Sun AM and finished 4th nice money.
That evening took a helicopter tour of Strip at night. I recommend this as I found special of $99 for 2 and this was an amazing tour. If you have never been on a heli-ride ,I am deathly-scared of heights, but i found it did not bother me at all Beautiful lights and ride.
took a Cab to Fremont $18 and enjoyed light show at night. Golden Nugget casino,Binions all were fun casinos,But as previous reviews I personally prefer Strip to downtown.
On Tuesday did Price is Right Live @ Ballys and had a Blast. I was actually 1st name called to contestants row and I managed to get on stage with my bid of $1. Ended up winning 4 prizes. at end of show i was given cash option which being in Vegas I accepted. Altogether great deal for cost of ticket. Also saw Improv at Harrahs. Very funny comedians,Drink prices normal price. $9 for Long Island $3 for beer.
Love Harrahs and Location.Cannot beat place on strip.
