We stayed from 6/27/09 until 7/2/09 and paid extra to have our room upgraded. The room
could have used a refrigerator and coffee pot. We stay at Harrahs in Atlantic City all the
time and the new tower there is beautiful. I can't imagine what the room would have looked like if we didn't have to pay for the upgrade. The shows were good - comedy
at the Improv and the Legends concert. The cocktail waitresses were nasty. We had
booked a tour to the Hoover Dam and at the desk where we purchased the tickets we
were never told since it was a Sunday there would be horrible traffice due to people
going home to Arizona and California. The tour guide informed us of this but it was
already too late we had purchased our tickets. The woman at the desk should inform
customers when they are purchasing tickets. We were lucky because we did not
have plans for that evening otherwise we would have been late returning back to the
hotel. Once on the bus the air conditioning was hardly working and everyone was
complaining since the it was 107 outside. The tour guide was great but the company shouldn't have sent the bus out - and this was booked by Harrahs. The pool is
horrible compared to other pools in the area. Also, played slots for 5 days and couldn't
win anything. We went across the street to the Mirage and we won!!!
A few days into the trip my husband got ill so I called my own doctor for a prescription.
When I asked the information desk where the closest pharmacy she told me there
was one near the MGM. Had to take a cab there only to find out from the valet that
there was one right near the Venetian - next hotel near Harrahs. They should be
more informed. So next trip I will not stay here - maybe will try a sister hotel. I still
love Harrahs in Atlantic City much better.

Newjerseyirene – Thanks for your comments regarding your recent stay at Harrah’s Las Vegas. As an employee with the company, I will be sure to pass your feedback along to the Hotel Services and Box Office staff.

We hope that you give Harrah’s Las Vegas another try but if not, thank you for considering one of our sister hotel-casinos. Flamingo has one of the best pools on the Strip, so this may be an option for you on your return visit.

Glad to see that Harrah’s Atlantic City still remains in favor with you. Thanks, Stacey.

We just got back from a 5 night stay. I read a lot of reviews and thought that it was going to be a nightmare getting the correct room that I had booked. I had a room comped at Ceasers but then as I was watching the sight they had the executive suite at Harrahs available comped for all nights. So I switched my reservations because I was taking my son for the first time to Vegas and he is 25. I thought the suite would be better because it has a separate bedroom. Also Harrahs right in the middle of it all. When we arrived at the hotel I was prepared for an argument but when I checked in they didn’t even ask any questions and gave me the keys to the suite. What a room this was. There was a huge bedroom, huge bathroom with Jacuzzi with a separate shower area and a living room. The living room had a fold out couch for my son. No view but I never ask for a view. If I want a view then I would take the helicopter ride over Vegas. The maid service was great. We left notes and when we returned we had everything we asked for. Absolutely no complaints with the staff, they were all very helpful but I also didn’t have a lot of questions for them being I have been there in the past. Check out was a breeze. Check out early am and use the bell service for your luggage, there are no lines. The pool wasn’t the greatest but I only was there in the morning reading the paper.
Things were great. We are going back in a few months and my son wants to stay at Harrah again. The weather was in the 100’s but if you take the monorail then that helps you get out from the heat. The best part of the trip was I won 3 jackpots, 2 at Harrahs and 1 at Bills.
I have stayed at alot of Harrahs resorts in Vegas and AC and have never had a problem in Vegas, only AC.

Overall very good and an enjoyable experience.

Check in was ok but was made to give a credit card deposit of $200 even though I paid in advance, the way they refunded it meant I now have an oustanding CC bill beware if travelling from outside the US as you will lose out.

The room on the 27th floor of the Mardi Gras tower was everything i wanted spacious nice bed and bathroom which was fine. the view was not the greatest but having been to vegas many times before hardly bothered me.

The facilities at the hotel are fine, try the spa the facilities are good nice gym sauna stream room etc.
the pool is fine , I am not one for lying by the pool bou swim and the poo was good first thing in the morning to swim in
The buffet is the best I have eaten at in veas in a long time, the cafe was ok and I never tried the rest.
I enjoyed gambling in there , but would prefer no smoking (when will they finally ban it) as it can get quite smokey in there.
Location is superb no buses or expensive taxis to catch you can walk everywhere from here on the strip.
I would definetely stop here again

First night, no hot water, not even warm, they moved us next day, but because the room was not ready, they had to take our luggage to bell station (another tip), we were told to come back around 4, not to stand in line, just walk up and ask for key. I did this, only to be screamed at by one of the front desk clerks, who had no business working with the public, which embarrased me and actually made me cry, because I was sick, running 103, the manager tried to make me happy by giving me a $30 room service credit, which at check out they tried to charge me. The next 6 nights were in a room that the AC sucked and would not go below 78, but the front desk people are the main problem, they are rude and I would never, never go back. Harrah's your hotel is really going down hill.
