I don't know if I would call Carnaval Court cheezy. It was great fun, everyone is very friendly, not alot of snobby "I'm too beautiful to talk to you" people. The bartenders are entertaining. Get the bucket of beers and save a buck apiece. Had the funnest afternoon of my trip here.

I have stayed and been comped at Harrahs many times in the past ten years and have always been completely happy with the service. However, I booked 3 rooms for 7 people for Sept. 12 to 16 (one non-smoking and two smoking) and have found the service at check-in deplorable.

We arrived at midnight Sun. and was advised that only one room (smoking) was ready and had to wait two hours or so for the others. Requested and verified high rooms, got one room on 3rd floor even with the airconditioning units for the hotel. Two rooms were in one tower and one in the other. Asked to change next day, were told to check at noon. However, only again only one room was ready and the other two would be only ready at 6 o'clock, again separate towers. Spoke with several people at various times including the Customer Service Rep. While all were polite, none were at all interested or helpful in satisfying us considering 7 gamblers, two of which earned Platinum status in 4 days. It seems the more property they buy and monopolize, the less they care, so I will stay elsewhere when returning in Dec. I must say though that the gambling was very good all during the stay although left some of my money as usual.

I went to Vegas in December 2003 because of a great airfare and a better hotel bargain - Harrah's at $49 a night! I have stayed at lots of places and for the money this was great. Rooms were as nice as MGM, casino was great with lots of action and of course Harrah's is midstrip so everything is close to walk too. And I won some money in the casino. Food pretty okay too. Best part was Dueling Pianos in the lounge for free, I went both nights. Carnaval Court cheesy though. I would definately stay here again and always check the rates here, although I would say about $89 a night is my limit here.

We were happy with the room and service we received here. We stayed for 4 nights in September 04. The in-room cookies were a nice touch and many hotel rooms in Vegas do not include coffee pots which Harrah's did. We were upgraded to a corner suite in the Carnival Tower. (for no additional cost) The room was very spacious and had a fairly good strip view. Pool was fair and the only reason I say that is that it was closed for one of the days due to high winds. Other days it was difficult to find a chair unless you get there very early. Crowded and much too close together for me. Gambling, my hubby hit a royal flush on video poker so we were ahead when we left. All in all, we will always stay at Harrah's and have been to most nationwide due to their comp program and free rooms. Favorite is the Harrah's in Phoenix (Ak-Chin). Beautiful huge rooms and pool cannot be beat!
