“Wonderful Stay at Harrah's Las Vegas!”

Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel

I just got back from Harrah's Las Vegas today. This is a wonderful hotel casino. They gave me an early check-in. The room was absolutely excellent. My room was in the Mardi Gras Tower. Everything worked in the room. TV, all lights, and remote control.
The bed was very very comfortable, there was a free safe in the room and a bar. Everything met to my satisfaction.

I was in a comped room, so of course the view was not spectacular, but it should not be as it was a complimentary room.

The hotel room was quiet, great climate control and excellent housekeeping.

Several restaurants are in the hotel and I really enjoyed Ming's Table. This is right at the Mardi Gras Tower and has fine Oriental cuisine.

The property is right in the middle of Las Vegas Boulevard and easy to access other hotel casinos and the Monorail.

I highly recommend Harrah's Las Vegas.

This is the first time I have stayed at Harrahs in 15 years. Back then it was pretty dumpy but it seems they have upgraded somewhat, although I think the bathrooms need some attention. Unfortunately I was given a room with a view but dirty bathtub! They did, however, move me to a better room without the great view, but it had windows that open, which I liked. I have to say that I did have a comped room for the two nights I stayed and usually those are not the best but I was pleased. The staff was great and the location is excellent. Having stayed at the Flamingo most of the time in the last 5 years, I have to say I liked the updated Flamingo rooms the best, but they are no longer comping those rooms so I would say that the regular rooms are comparable to each other. I always rent a car so where I stay doesn't matter but if you don't want to rent a car or take a cab, these are the best two locations.

“Clean rooms, good location on Strip”

Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel

Stayed at Harrah's Feb 5-9 while in town for business. We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Sands Expo Center (next door - about a 10-15 minute walk).

We stayed in Carnaval tower, 29th floor, facing away from Strip. Room was clean with comfortable bed and large bathroom. My biggest complaint was that we could hear our neighbors through the connecting door in room (one night we listened to a crying baby for half of the night). So if you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs!

Location on Strip was great, right across from Mirage and Caesar's Palace. There is also a monorail station connected to the hotel.

Food at hotel was OK but expensive. We tried the cafe and the buffet. You can also grab a quick bite at Chipotle or McDonalds located right next to Harrah's.

Didn't have time to try any of the bars in the hotel, but they looked like fun (especially the Piano Bar and the Carnaval Court).

I'd stay here again for the right price (we paid around $60 a night). While not as opulent as some of the other Strip hotels, Harrah's great location makes it an inexpensive alternative for those who won't be spending much time in their room.

PS - Casino Royale next door has $1 bottles of Michelob and $1 margaritas!

Went with a buddy for 3 nights after superbowl weekend. Have stayed at several Vegas hotels with wife but never at Harrah's. Was skeptical but gave it a try as we didn't really care about the room so much and it was cheap, $59 for a strip view room.

Was pleasantly surprised. Room wasn't very big but it was clean, seemed to be recently updated, had a window that opened, the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and the bathroom had updated fixtures such as a shower massage and a power flush toilet.

We were in the Carnivale tower and the strip view was partially blocked but we had full view of the Mirage volcano (which was down for repair) and Treasure Island.

The location of Harrah's is one of the best on the strip. If you go out the front door of the casino there is a crosswalk that leads directly to Caesar's. Harrah's is right in the middle of a large complex of hotels and is on the monorail for easy access to other properties.

Another good thing is that when you arrive (we came in a taxi) check in is right inside the door and the room elevators are just off the lobby, you don't have to drag your luggage through the casino. Check in was fast and easy for us and the room was ready when we arrived. We didn't get bothered by the time share people but if you are a male / female couple they will confront you which is pretty annoying.

The drink service was ok if you play the tables and the service at the sports book was good. The sports book at Harrah's is good though my favorite is at Bellagio. We didn't eat at Harrah's so I can't comment on the food but there is a Starbucks just off the room elevators, which was nice.

This was my first stay at Harrah's, based on this trip I would give it another try in the future. If your looking for a place to stay that isn't really fancy but has a great location and is a very good value Harrah's is worth considering.

Spent 2 nights at Harrahs .Wasn't sure what to expect. Room had been upgraded. Flat screen in main room and bathroom.Bed was above average, plenty of pillows. Overall a good room for the price $59.00 A night. The one thing that I didn't like was room Temp could be only adjusted down to 64 dregee's. If you like it cold this could be a issue. Also the outside band plays to 1:00 am every night. With the sliding door closed you could barely hear it. But if you go to bed early or a light sleeper this could be a issue. Restaurants were just avg. We had a car, drove south to the South Coast Casino for there $5.95 breakfast buffet. Casino was great even though I didn't win much Held steady most of the time. Plenty of cocktail waitress so the service was good both days. I would stay again, Great location.
