stayed at the Luxor from 4th-11th August. Last visited Vegas 18yrs ago so expected some changes but very disappointed at how downmarket some places have become. The Luxor itself is in the middle of building works - very noisy drills prevented conversation at times - and the bedrooms are extremely gloomy and badly lit. Large rooms and very clean but agree with previous comments that sheets too small and room service trays litter the corridors for hours. Clientele very scruffy and a bit 18-20s especially round the pool - not the sort of place to take our granddaughter for her first swim. Quite a sleazy feel to the place with constant recorded phone messages re escort services!!Staff very helpful - about the only plus. Wouldn't stay there again - you get what you pay for.
