We visited Las Vegas before going on to New York and I have to say that the shopping in Vegas was definitely on par with New York. Part of the reason was the Fashion Show Mall. It was very modern, clean and easy to navigate and and great stores - I could've spent all day in Abercrombie and Hollister alone. Definitely worth a visit but not if you only plan to browse as you will be tempted to part with your money!

Okay I am from ohio so the best place to shop here is polaris fashion center, well while in Vegas I and my mother spent a day here and we loved it. This place is huge. We initially went to the food court to get something to eat. You should definitely try Crazy Crepes there. They have the most delicious crepes and they have a weird but good drink called bubble tea. still havent figured out that one but it was neat. We found it very easy to navagate around with their maps and loved the shopping as the shops there are way cheaper than those at the forum shops at caesers.
This place is a must for people who love to shop.

This mall has been upgraded considerably just a decade or so ago when it was feeling pretty dilipidated. They've since expanded its size to being one of the largest in the US when measured by store floor space. Most of that space is in department stores though, so if those 'one day sales' floats your boat, you could spend days here. If you're just looking for speciality stores they have that too.

We just returned from our first visit and we spent a very nice afternoon in the Fashion Show Mall. It's light and airy and when we went (a Wednesday afternoon in February) it was really quiet. Good selection of shops, and a great food court. Also, a really nice touch is there are plenty of nice comfy sofas where you can sit for free and recharge your batteries.

Recommend it, it was much nicer than the outlet mall we went to.
