Just returned from a second fabulous stay at Bellagio. There's nothing like it. Splurge for a lakeview room or suite and you will die happy: seeing those fountains going at all times of day is fabulous. The rooms are comfortable and well-cleaned, room service is speedy and delicious, and there is so much to do in the mini-city that is the Bellagio that you won't even feel the need to roam down the Strip. The restaurants in the lobby are among the best in the city: Le Cirque, Prime, Picasso, Olives -- we loved them all. The Spa and Salon are also very luxe and beautifully appointed.
In short: there is not a detail missed at Bellagio. Yes, everything is over the top, but you're in Vegas, baby....it's to be expected. If you don't want $1million of murano glass flowers on the lobby ceiling, then go to a holiday inn!
