until now! I honestly cannot remember a worse dinner than the one I experienced at Ocean One Bar & Grille. After splurging on meals throughout the weekend, we decided to try and find an affordable dinner as we were walking through the mall at Planet Hollywood. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, my friend ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, and my wife ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. Unfortunately, there were about eight pieces of pepperoni on the whole pizza, and the barbecue chicken had no flavor. The pizzas tasted like bread with a big blob of cheese, and we were only able to choke down about a slice each before asking for them to be taken off the bill. The Cajun chicken pasta was average at best. We were extremely disappointed with our meal and would strongly encourage our friends NOT to go to this restaurant.

2-for-1 ALL-Day Happy Hour is a good thing considering that Martinis are $10. My dinner visit was enjoyable with good food and attentive, pleasant service. My best description of the atmosphere would be upscale casual. I had the Teriyaki Seared Tuna which was perfectly seared and very tasty. I was looking for more zing from the wasabi mashed potatoes but they were still good. Dinner for one with 2 drinks, tax and tip was $40.

I have never written a bad review on any restaurant in my life until now.

This was such as horrible experience that I just have to warn people. I realize that there are bad nights at restaurant in fact my parents have owned restaurants all my life so I know what a bad night looks like.
My husband and I visited this restaurant a few months ago with 3 other friends and we all had the worst experience in our lives. We still talk about it because it was soooooo bad.

The waiter was obnoxious and we asked to speak to the manager/owner who was even ruder. We then asked for our bill to be seperated and they refused and the manager threw a calculator on our table and told us to figure it up ourselves.

Please don't waste your hard earn money at this rude rip off.

We went to Ocean One because we had a resaurant.com gift card and really enjoyed it.
It is located in the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood and was a small place. It was not very busy so we enjoyed a rather private dining experience! The atmospere was relaxed, comfortable, and romantic. The selection was not as varied as some restaurants but we really enjoyed what we got. My husband got filet mignon and I had a really great shrimp and pasta dish. Our favorite was the toasted pita bread with parmasean that they brought out....really yummy and different! We would go there again!
