The Stratosphere tower is definitely worth checking out for a awesome views of Vegas. It's kind of pricey just to go up in a tower, but it's comparable to the Hancock Observatory in Chicago and probably any other city, and it's really worth it. It's kind of way up by itself, but it's not too bad.

What can be more scary than being shot up in the air with a view of the Vegas Strip... on the worlds tallest ride at 1100 feet? The free fall is unbelievable...I rode this ride for the first time 13 years ago and 13 years later it doesnt disappoint. They take your photo at the top for extra laughs....

This hotel is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to. First off the room they gave us was horrible. When you walk in to turn on the lights they flicker once then twice and then the third times the charm. You can hear people in the hallway/other room. When the other shower goes on in a different room you can hear it in your room. The bathroom was tiny, seriously the tub was like and inch away from the toilet. When you try to lift up the toilet seat it doesn't stay. In the shower when you turn on the water it says hot or cold well the hot is really cold and the cold is really the hot. The shower clogs up and doesn't drain properly as well as the sink in the small vanity. We asked for non smoking and you could still smell the smoke. The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Honestly the price is cheap but it is not worth one bit of time, seriously do not stay here. OH and when I told the hotel clerk about the problem in the room she just said, ok i will just put in a complaint. This hotel was horrible!!!!

I've been saying for a long time that I would go on a ride at the top of the Stratosphere. Keep in mind, I HATE rides! I do not go on roller coasters or anything else. But, it was a beautiful Vegas morning and my boyfriend and I decided to walk from the Palazzo to the Stratosphere. We bought tickets to go to the observation deck and also a ticket for me to go on XScream (the one that makes you face down while hanging over the strip). Let me start by saying that it was worth every penny to go to the top of the tower. The views were so stunning. You could see all of Vegas plus other beautiful sights like Summerlin and Lake Mead. It was finally my turn to go on the ride so I went outside and waited for the people in front of me to finish. I was the only one going on! I sat on the ride all by myself in the first seat. I was teriffied but so excited too. It was scary being jolted over the edge because you feel like you're going to fall out but once you relax a tiny bit and look around, it's so beautiful. I would highly recommend it. The pictures my boyfriend took of me are priceless!
