If you want something different and you are interested in the mob and Las Vegas history then you have got to take this tour. We had a ball from the minute we stepped on the bus. Our guide who was in "character" at all times really knows the history of the old Chicago and Vegas mobs and he tells each story and event with incredible detail some coming first hand from ex mobsters and cops. Everyone on the bus really got into it. We were even talking like the "outfit" after awhile.

It is really well done , interesting , informative and it's a lot of fun.

Definitely worth the time compared to some of the other boring Las Vegas tours we have taken.

A sold recommend and I'll do it again next trip

We were fortunate to have taken the tour on the same night a real-life former mobster and a retired police detective were also on board. I'm an organized crime buff and wanted to hear the real deal, not a Hollywood version. And boy, did I!

It was an infiormative and entertaining evening that I'll remember and talk about for a long time to come.

When I was in Vegas in early march I waslooking for something to do and had seen most of the show,s I wanted to see so I was at a half priced ticket place and saw the new Vegas mob and haunted Vegas tour,s. They looked interesting so I thought I would go to both and they both exceeded my expectation,s. I like history and learned a lot I did not know and also some inside info. the guide learned from former mobster,s. I would go again and would recomend it to anyone! Kevin from Il.

We went on this tour on Wednesday night and were really excited about seeing Bugsy's Vegas and the torrid history of the city, it was billed as a light hearted mob themed tour. We were told to get to the resort for pick up at 5.15 - we did and then were told we weren't going anywhere til 6.
When we got on the bus we were informed we were in for a treat with some special guests on the bus tonight. These were an ex cop and an ex mobster to give us their recollections on events. I can see why they imagined this would add to the tour. Unfortunately it meant the tour guide was contradicted, interrupted and lost his thread constantly. He would tell the first sentence of a story - be corrected by the ex mobster and the two of them would have a discussion. The tour leader had a microphone but no one else did so we would then sit through 5 minutes of "yeah, uh huh, really? Gotcha" as he heard the mobster's story.

After an hour and a half of this the tour took a different turn and the ex mobster was asked if he knew some guy. He then recounted how he had murdered the man in question. This mobster had been in witness protection after testifying against the mob but personally, I feel it is very wrong to profit from crimes - he was selling his DVD and tape collection on the tour, and was far from the light hearted tour offered.

We left the tour at the first opportunity - this was the Flamingo, supposed to be the main part of the tour - we arrived there after 2 and a half hours, it was a 2 hour tour! Kudos to the guy at the back of the bus who was connected to the tour - he did all he could to get them to use the microphone and stay with the story but it was a lost cause. It was odd being on a tour as they researched it.

I've been on tours around the world, and had worked as a tour guide myself - this was a "How not to do it" - listening to one side of a conversation followed by the confessions of a killer.
I'll never get those two and a half hours back.
