This being my first time in Las Vegas an adult (was here when I was 12 but that doesnt count), this was my favorite.
I dont think you could say that the show is what makes it the best, or the old casinos, or what.... Its the atmosphere and personality present in the area. To wander from casino to casino, drinking a long the way. No long walks, or tram/car rides. Lots of places to choose from to eat or whatever.
We stayed at the Golden Nugget and loved that we could just walk downstairs and be where all the action is.
Yeah, the shows are.... strange. The later the show, the more 'adult' it is. But just to watch it up there made it fun.
It was just the whole atmosphere.
Yes, we visited the strip a lot, but felt welcomed home at Fremont.
