By the time you read this review it will probably be too late. We usually don't know we are going to buy a cup of ice cream until we are at the ice cream store, so it's not the type of place that we research before we visit. This is what happened to us. We were at the Caesar's Forum shops, it was a hot day, and I saw a gelato stand across from FAO Schwartz. It was only after it was served that I learned it was $17.95. Yes, the price was probably posted near the register, but not in such a way that I noticed. I would have thought I read it wrong anyway. And yes, the gelato tasted fine. But it was not spectacular, and definately not something I would pay so much for ever again. As I sat down I heard someone talking on her cell phone: "I can't believe I am eating a $17 cup of ice cream!" Maybe that's what the store wants you to remember - the time you treated yourself to a very expensive cup of gelato!
